I used to like it, but the creators have been content on recycling as much content as possible throughout the years and the new content doesn't match the quality of the old generally speaking.
After the final HF movie comes out I will no longer have any reason to keep up with the story. Strange Fake is good I guess, but it's being written at a snail's pace.

The original Extra is fucking trash with shit gameplay and an awful self-insert protagonist that is only outclassed by Guda. The overarching story is weak and the only good parts are the interactions with your servant, really.

What interactions with the enemy master and servants were interesting to you? There were barely any in the vanilla game. Most of them got really minimal screentime and it's nothing compared to the depth that we got in SN. Gilgamesh is a CCC thing too and CCC is simply in a different class altogether so I'm not talking about it.
I agree the concept visuals (which appear to be dropped in the remake) look good but unfortunately that barely saves the rest of the trash. It's a slog of a game to go through.

I wouldn't expect a PSP game to rival SN's depth of interactions or the likes but I enjoyed Robin and Dan's the most where they were clearly opposed in how they handled fighting and only made up right before they died about how in the end, Robin still had that desire to fight fairly like Dan wanted him to so he isn't as bummed about losing.
Gawain being a smug sack of shit finally eating his own shit was cathartic, if nothing else and seeing that he was too blinded by his ideals of a king that he didn't see Leo's flaws was basic, but still decent.
