not really. but in this case bethesda left bugs there on purpose which kinda defeats the purpose of bugs having soul
>left bugs there on purpose which kinda defeats the purpose of bugs having soul
Every launch of every game has bugs left in, they're called "Shippables"
Post your toons or big titty followers
LOL IT'S FILLED WITH BUGS! SHIT GAME XD!

Most were fixed within days from what I remember. Bethesda was just targeting that 11/11/11 launch date. FO4's deadline was more lax and they had time to ship the game relatively without game breaking bugs.
Bethesda always gets a pass with bugs. I think the only time it affected reviews was with 76? And honestly that game was just as broken as the rest.
>most were fixed
its still broken on ps3
holy shit if skyrim is more than 9/10 then we should push the rating system to at least 12 max points to make it more realistic or maybe reaching a perfect 10 is much easier than it seems
I don't understand why every Bethesda game has numerous item scripting bugs that seemingly can be fixed in 20 seconds in the creation kit
You know, stuff like
>item is supposed to have 250% durability, actually has 25% durability
>item is one handed, rolls against two handed skill
>item is supposed to do ice damage because it's linked to spell effect script 1005E but the file says 1005F so the item doesn't do shit
All the sort of thing that I totally understand a massive new open world game having, but they all get discovered by the community, documented, and a year and six patches later they're still fucking there unfixed. Why?
no they werent
PC still has it's obligatory unofficial patch with the "remaster" because it's STILL filled with bugs.
>release broken sandbox
>release modtools
>finish and fix the game for us for free bro
>It`s okay to be a buggy mess, people will buy it anyways
This is why I`m not interested in games anymore.
I'm just saying a lot of these fixes are so easy to remedy that not doing it seems downright spiteful.
You know you typed 2.5 when you meant 25. Maybe you missed it during crunch, that's forgivable, but you're on the third expansion pack now. Move the fucking decimal point holy shit.
Yeah, Bethesda has always gotten a free pass with this. Comepletely shameful.
>finish and fix the game for us while giving us more money for sitting on our ass
Do you think microsoft will pursue paid mods like zenimax did? They're kinda jewish on DLC and microtransaction in the store imho when you have the game pass.
That's right, but still not as bad as the launch bugs where a quarter of the quests were literally broken.
-me. Skyrim was boring as fuck.
Those guys put alot of hard work and effort into making that unofficial patch. We support their hard work by not fixing it ourselves.
desu the awful cutscenes voice acting did more to ruin skyrim for me than anything else. All the awkward pauses and one voice actor made it feel like my first gmod machinima or something.
Post the webm of the werewolf blood.
In case you missed it Zenimax had already laid their sights on monetizing mods. I see no reason for Microsoft to change course.
The absolute fucking state of Minecraft DLC implies a strong "yes"
That's what I said.
I know, I feel like game pass is kind of a scam. You're kinda paying 10 bucks a month to play demos of games. And I think as game pass will continue to take off and evolve games will adapt to the new market and be sliced into even more pieces.
100%. They might end up handling the whole thing with more tact but it's not going away. If anything they could potentially use the Creation Club as a catch all for all Microsoft mods. I don't know if CC is available on consoles but I guess that'd be the next easy step.
Absolutely but I doubt it happens anytime soon. Their main objective is getting more people on gamepasss and bad press won't help.
>OP thought this would be a cyberpunk thread
No, we discuss how shit bethesda is instead.
Indeed those ranks are extremely wrong. They're based more on feeling and subjective at this point if you don't see the technical problems like being able to use a bucket for breaking a game, or being able to open some hidden chests which contain merchants' items.
I don't care anymore about reviews, neither from journalists and community.
My main quest was broken but I liked it even more because of this, just started to play it in experimental ways
How is it a demo? You can literally play the entirety of the game.
Right now game pass isn't really a bad deal since it's still gathering a large subscriber base. But it's nothing like Netflix still. Imagine if netflix was like ''hey psst, you can unlock this scene for an extra 4.99$''
I saw Doom Eternal got put on game pass and I was like great, I don't own the expansion yet lets go play it and then I saw you still need to pay for it.
>put on game pass
>need to pay for a game still
>will lose the game if you cancel game pass
wut
It's a neat trick
>offer base ''game pass'' version of the game
>have to purchase DLC
>if subscription ends you can't access bought DLC anymore because it requires the base game
Keep your subscription goy.
Like for additive DLC I can kinda understand but isn't the doom eternal DLC also stand alone?
