I don't get it, why does Shazam hate Cyberpunk 2077?

Genuinely why does Zig Forums always use sales figures as some form of "gotcha"? It's like if Zig Forums was like "noooo you can't shit on Avengers it's the best movie look at its sales"

Outside of the unlockable trans flag, it's not really a "tranny" game. As far as I know, Resetera hates the game. You'd be really based to purchase it.

i like this meme but am not a fan of some of the editing choices, and i think it might be hard to read if you're not familiar with the scene which no doubt most zoomers on Zig Forums are not

I never cared too much for cyberpunk and don't have much invested in it being good or bad. But the game having a 91 on metacritic doesn't really say much about it to me.

On production values alone it's probably enough to make it stand out and give it a nice score or whatever. The thing that never convinced me about this game is all "YOU CAN DO ANYTHIGNN" vibe it got since the beginning.

I think that at this point developers should know better than having that kind of ambition when developing and marketing their game. It's just not possible to deliver on that promise and that design phylosophy fails to recognise that before attempting something like that, you need to re-think how certain systems that are at the base of the gameplay work, and not just throw budget and production values on a template that just can't surprise anyone anymore.

I think games like Terraria, Noita, Rainworld or Breath of the Wild in what regards to 3D, deliver way better on making the player be immersed in a world that feels real. And all of these games gave priority to creating unique systems that work for each game in particular without the pretension of being the GOAT simulator.
