It should have been obvious with the Wii or Wii U that Nintendo was going in a whole different direction with gaming than it's competitors. I've said this before but at this point in time, Nintendo hardware should be treated as a complimentary to your other gaming hardware rather than a primary one. Anyone who owns a Switch should also own a PC or PS4 (I don't recommend getting a PS5 just yet), especially if you don't want to miss out on a lot of 3rd party titles.
