>buy a $1500 card
>upscale to 1080p

wait ur telling me you DIDN"T get an rtx 3090, get aids poorfag

What's the game really running at? 540p?

Nvidiots are low IQ consuuuumer brainlets.

From the streams the game looks like hot garbage, even cranked to the max.
What a shame.
Expect mostly negative reviews on Steam from shit performance alone.

Can't wait to blow 2000+ dollars on a brand new computer and get 60-90 fps in 1080p. Master race, baby.

If you think it will run better on AMD you’re only kidding yourself

Even with RTX cranked are you even gaining performance against 1440 DLSS? You figure at pretty much and internal resolution below 1080 you would be bottlenecked by your CPU with most of those cards.

Bro..

so 1440p 144hz ist still a fucking meme even in 2020 with a 1500$ card????

So i'm not going to be ray tracing on my 2080

Developers are getting lazier and lazier when it comes to optimization, most of them can't even be fucking bothered with it these days.
Another couple of years and a $3k card will get you 60fps.

>he bought a 20xx card
lol

looks like i'll barely break the 60fps barrier

>3000 series are overkill for 1080p they said
Fuck that shit. I'm not upgrading anything for a while and I guess I will just ignore all AAA releases. First Nvidijews and AMDkikes try to drain everyone's wallets, shit is sold out everywhere, and now the most expensive card can barely run shit at 60 FPS without DLSS, which isn't in every game? I'm keeping my money.

I flipped 10 2080tis and bought an open box 2080 off ebay for like $550 bucks, I was using my 1070s to mine worked out pretty well for me also I'm not a poorfag

>tfw bought a 2070 super just before they announced the 3000 series
might just hang myself desu bros

enjoy your 20fps 6900XT bro

Waitfags always win.

Just don't use ultra ray tracing.

Depending on what you upgraded from it might have been a good decision. Or where you're from I guess, because good luck getting a 3070 below €700.

You fell for the physx meme bro.

I wonder if they’ve enable antialiasing with DLSS

Can you? I know death stranding and Control disable AA options if you have DLSS on.

*pays $1200 for 3080 performance*
amdbros we won!

>render downscale
>the upscale
WOW FPS GAINS!!!

>game is submitted to NVidia during development NVidia produces 1080p images and 4K images of the same scenes (probably other resolutions too) The nvidia ai compares the two and produces an algorithm of the scene, this data gets sent out via driver updates With DLSS turned on the GPU renders a frame in the game at 1080p The tensor cores process the ai data (at much faster speeds than raster/shading) to upscale the 1080p image to 4k. As part of this the ai also produces anti-aliasing to correct the supersampling issues. The 4K image is output to the monitor.

>win10
not the standard

My old PC had le 3.5gb meme card. It was quite old and the PSU exploded and fried the CPU, so I built a new PC from the ground up.

Only spent 1k so I can't really complain desu

this isn't how DLSS 2.0 works

>DLSS 2.0 works as follows: The neural network is trained by Nvidia using "ideal" images of video games of ultra-high resolution on supercomputers and low resolution images of the same games. The result is stored on the video card driver. It is said that Nvidia uses DGX-1 servers to perform the training of the network.

How poorly optimized 85353is this trash?

its not like it was a surprise launch. buying gpus at discount at the end of their cycle is always a gamble.

yes, the developers don't have to send images in anymore, it uses general images

You dont need anti aliasing with dlss

That was my point, I was wondering if they enabled everything

I think nvidia knows thaf

Oh, I thought it was a publication
