Didn't really expect much from it when I first heard the announcement, not because I thought it would suck but because, just like you mentioned, the whole dirty, degenerate, futuristic dystopia thing is almost the exact opposite of my aesthetic preferences in games, and usually if I'm not feeling a game's atmosphere I can't get into it.

The state it is in is not an intentional fuck you to the players, but the best of CDPRs ability given their timeframe. The game is absolutely chock filled with bugs, and the basic systems don't even work properly because they're poorly coded and dependent on the wrong processes.

I think the game is indicative of the major issues the studio has, it's just a bunch of braindead suits who think they can make a game by throwing more pajeets at a problem until it gets "fixed".

Bad games are bad forever, delayed games at least have a chance of being good. This game has absolutely no business coming out in 2020, it needs another year in development at minimum.

The game offers very little in the way of player choice, it honestly feels like a more buggy Fallout 4.

However something really fucks up with the lighting around noon in the game. That base Xbox footage, part of the reason that looked so bad was because of the time of day. It looks bad on PC too.

Hiring "star power" isn't always the end of the world, the issue here is that they spent 90% of the budget on advertising instead, and rushed the game out like crazy. When they delayed the game a week before it was meant to come out, alarm bells should've been going off everywhere, but instead retards thought "hurr give them another month, that'll fix it!".

Keanu was a terrible choice, too. Like the other guys said, the guy can't actually act for shit, he can only play one character, disaffected surfer dude. He doesn't work at all for Silverhand.
