Nah
King’s Field

It got better, then it got worse.
But Tomino Gundam never fell off, Turn-A and G-Reco are fantastic.

UHHH WTF

unicorn and thunderbolt is still the peak of the UCT. only plebs disagree. also the re-imaging 79 manga>original 79 anime.

You have the option of not putting those decals, friend. I love double jointed elbows.

I just like building the robots :)

I don't like random mech rectangles either but you're making this yourself can't you just not put the stickers on

Unicorn is some of the worst shit I've ever forced myself to watch.

the 79 manga is sick though

Honestly, I like it, but Gundam is a series of shitty show entries saved by cool looking robots.

It does get hilarious with every side show of the OG adding a dozen new variants or super-suits while the time-line of the war remains a single year.

>turn A
yes
>g-reco
...

Basically, yeah. OP's pic is a classic case of going full retard with the decals.
It's good but I wouldn't call it a replacement. It changes up a lot of things.

i liked ibo and i love Barbatos nigga

Crysis

I still can't believe Mr. Warning Shot's show filtered so many people, It was absolutely genki.
Same here, too bad about the whole KANGS of mars thing though.

why do so many fags like unicorn. I went on Zig Forums and dumbasses were shilling to watch it first.
I've marathoned the Gundam series and watched all of UC and stopped AU at 00. How the fuck do people think Unicorn was good?

It's on Netflix.

>sequel is the best in the series but nobody played it

Yeah but fuck I don't understand how people like it without the context. With the context, sure whatever your opinion is yours. But by itself it's absolutely retarded.

>Filtered by g-reco

I NEEEEEED A KING GAINER

As I said, it's on Netflix. Thus, normalfags and other plebs watch it.
Honestly it's probably more enjoyable without the context since you don't see it pissing on the rest of UC

Nothing like seeing someone who has IBO, Violet Evergarden and Unicorn on their top 5 anime of all time.

I watched Angel Heart. It was mad wholesome

You got about 3 redesigns for him this year. Just pick your favorite.

Oh boy, I'll bite.
I liked G-Reco on release, I watched it weekly as it came out and even used to be a vehement defender of the show, then I rewatched it, twice iirc. That's when I started reflecting on it and my opinion changed.
It has a lot going for it. Animation is top notch, aesthetically it provides an extremely imaginative and interesting setting, the character designs are lively and interesting, and so are the mechanical designs.
The OST was decent, nothing stand out, but it works.

That being said its rather mediocre everywhere else and by that I mean the writing and directing. I think thematically it's interesting, and does some cool stuff with its factions, but that's all I can say. It just wasn't engaging anywhere else.
A lot of the character writing feels really bland, and like weak collages of past Tomino characters. There's not any dimension to most of them either.
There aren't any character arcs that hooked me, which is pretty disappointing.
I think the reason I liked it the first time is because I was more interested in the setting, but on rewatched that magic is lost when everything is already familiar.
Raraiya starts to get interesting around the midpoint of the show, then she kinda just gets relegated to background character status for the rest of it.

Probably Tomino's last solid show. It always felt like it ended a bit abruptly though.

>game's live movie adaptation is actually good

Yeah I wasn't expecting it coming from CH. I thought the whole premise was a little dumb as well but holy shit while CH always had me laughing and sometimes felt sad, AH arcs always ended bittersweet. They did a great job with portraying Kaori's presence throughout the series. Unlike other stuff, her death is clearly a hole nothing will be able to fill.

I hate how mecha series you need to watch at least 4-7 episodes in to understand what the fuck is going on and what's the context.
