Neutral terms such as “unauthorized copying” (or “prohibited copying” for the situation where it is illegal) are available for use instead. Some of us might even prefer to use a positive term such as “sharing information with your neighbor.”

yes. it's downloading from as many sources as it can.
also, you get better speeds if you upload. most clients prioritize peers that upload the pieces they get. (some torrent dev read some game theory wiki page or something, and it seems to have worked)
