Fallout 3 has incredible atmosphere and world building. Exploration is really fun too and the Capital Wasteland was essentially everything I wanted from a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Many argue the main quest writing wasn’t good in comparison to its 2D predecessors, but I had fun with it regardless.

Fallout 3 is a very good fangame that crowbars as much of the franchise's iconography into one game as the devs could manage, but doesn't actually live up to the series

Ugly, terrible gun-play, some very poorly written characters/dialogue, broken SPECIAL system that can make you into an unstoppable juggernaut at a relatively low level. Just off the top of my head.

Fallout 3 is a fantastic game.
It has the same rpg mechanics and quest depth as New Vegas so if you like NV you'd like 3 as well

I enjoyed it enough back in the day but even then I had issues with it. After playing NV, I never saw a reason to return to FO3. And 4 is better than 3, so there's doubly no reason to ever play 3 again.

1,2 and New Vegas is miles better but atleast its not 4. Im not even going to mention 76

3 is way better than Fallout 1.
Fallout 1 is way overrated, it was a small and very simple game that would be unremarkable if not for the series it created

Fallout 1 had very simple quests is a short game and also has major faults with it's time limit and with it's character creation.
Sure the atmosphere is alright. Personally I think 3 did better in that regard

Because the writing isn't shit, (for the time the writing was quite good) the combat can be fun, the characters were great, it had the same rpg elements as New Vegas so it's not a 'shit rpg'.

And it wasn't broken or even that buggy at launch it only became so because it, along with many other games from the late 2000s are no longer compatible with Windows10

Enclave is known to be as far east as Chicago, user. Them being on the east coast isn't that much of a stretch. Hell, the NCR talking about how the Enclave is dead and gone is technically bullshit because the Chicago Enclave is still going.

The time limit is easy to overcome by caravans with water in one of the major cities ( cant remember which ) and the fact that its shorter then the rest makes it more bearable to replay. Besides New Vegas its the one I´ve played the most. Cant argue with the character creation tho

If you don't beat the game withen 80 in game days you will get a bad ending for the followers of the apocalypse faction, and the time limit goes against the whole point of the franchise which is to immerse yourself in an unique post apocalyptic world
