I was interested to see how dedicated one would have to be to surpass these works. If you were to dedicate 8 hours a day of just freeflow typing out your story, i'd say 20,000 words each day is achievable. This would give you 7,300,000 words at the end of a full year. Still a feat, but not as insane as I thought it would be if one was trying to chase that record.

The people who make these things aren't capable of shame. They also don't have conversations with other people.

Does anyone else get strangely motivated to create stuff after viewing autistic trash? Not to say that anything I make is or will be great but it feels like staring in to the depths of how truly awful stuff can be is fascinating and inspiring.

I'm gonna give this the benefit of the doubt and assume it's not just a bunch of monkeys typing on a keyboard and that it at the very least is clearly readable. Let's assume it takes 30 seconds to write a 10 word sentence, or for the sake of making the math easier 20 words in a minute. That's over 6300 hours of writing, or over 260 days. In the last three years this guy's spent like three fourths of a year's worth of time just writing this, and that's assuming he just shits out his first drafts and doesn't revise them or anything.

How much animation goes on in Rance versus describing the actions as compared to other VNs? Muv Luv Extra might not have much of that but Unlimited and Alternative do save quite a few written words by making use of the Visual part of VN.
