Same, my 1060 runs pretty much anything I want at flawless 60FPS, even the original Witcher 3 at Ultra ran with small drops of only fiveish frames.
I can barely get above 50 on medium here. The game is horribly optimized.

I'm not thrilled with the performance of the game, even on my 3070 I dip below 60 fps pretty often on ultra. I'm pretty confident some hotfix patches will improve optimization, and we shouldn't be waiting too long on those.

It doesn't even run at 60fps on a 1060. Just buy the Steam version then refund after all the patches are done - the executable doesn't have Steam DRM on it

Yep, reinstalled it twice too. Tried nvidia experience and it suggests toaster-low quality at 1360x768.

Yeah your card is about a third more powerful than mine. I refuse to play the game in this state.
I was gonna swing for a NVIDIA 3000 series card next year anyhow. The 1060 will be five years old at that point and the 3070 is literally a 115% straight upgrade in many respects. Considering most people say it can run this game at 60 and above I refuse to touch it otherwise.

It's not launched through steam, hence the lack of playtime being recorded, its just the game itself without CDPR's bloatware bullshit launcher.

I get pretty stable 60 fps on 1660ti high-medium settings 1080p with little drops to mid fifties in crowded places, and 1070ti is like 5% faster.

Turn off motion blur, reduce volumetrics to medium, set crowd density to low (that ones in gameplay settings)
After that if you aren't happy turn off depth of field and buy a new gpu.
