Played about 9 hours. Blew me away completely. It's like the game of my dreams and a new quality in game development in general. Also journos are retarded because combat and driving are both super fun and engaging.

The fact that the game was delayed so much makes most of these inexcusable. The game is casual/normie bait and nothing more. Will sell well because of that and marketing but is a shit game.
The perk and class system is admittedly good but it's overshadowed by all the flaws.

good i really like it but my 2060 dips below the 50's when im in a particulary crowded and busy area, i have everything on psycho and ultra btw and i refuse to lower the settings.
hope more optimization patches come eventually.

also, its quite iverwhelming the amount of options you have but the game does a good job at easing you into them.

Holy shit it legitimately makes me mad. I'm pretty sure there have been CoD games that had less strictly scripted set pieces. It really wouldn't be THAT bad because I know you can't reasonably have the game branch out too terribly far but exactly how much of a dumbass V is scripted to be has surprised me like every twenty minutes. I'm only like 3 and a half hours deep so we'll keep going and see if I don't have a fucking aneurysm

Played 2 days. The game is pure shit and all the textures look like they came out for the Xbox 360

Feels a LOT like Deus Ex: HR and all its shitty sequels.
More of a guided story with choices than an RPG.
But maybe that's just the beginning of the game.

It's fun. Runs surprisingly well. I can actually run ultra with rtx if I'm not in the busy sections. As always Zig Forums is always wrong.

It's buggy as fuck. I've had two quests fuck up on me requring restarts.

Other than that It's like a new Deus Ex game, I'm loving it.

me too, it's just unfortunately the progression of an industry. The more shit quality the average consumer accepts, the less a company has to try, and they have zero reason to try more than necessary when it's all about profit.
Since video games are a very small side thing for most people, they accept more shit than other industries

The game itself is genuinely good and it's pretty fun when it runs well.
But that's the thing: When it runs well.
I've seen more bugs in this game than anything Bethesda has put out and that's fucking embarrassing after the 8-year long development cycle with delay after delay.

The only thing I was expecting was a relatively bug-free game after the day one patch that ran well and I can't even have that.

Not even close. TLOU2 was pure sjw garbage with no real gameplay elements. Sure there's some sjw garbage in cyberpunk 2077, but the gameplay, story and roleplaying aspect is amazing.

I just got it, been playing for 90 minutes.
I have a pretty good PC, but the game runs like utter trash. Something feels off about the combat. Something about the aiming feels shit. The melee feels even more shit. The controls are hot garbage

the city is fucking insane, beautiful as fuck.
writing is average, gameplay is average. sound design is good but the implementation is shitty and unfinished.
AI is trash, UI looks okay but sucks to navigate.
aim and movement feels unresponsive and floaty, driving sucks.
optimization is fucking horrible, im on a gtx 1060, everything set to low and it runs like absolute garbage, even though its the recommended specs.
will refund, might play in a few years.
