>Little brother is trying to become a gaming youtuber.
>Has been uploading videos daily for almost 1.5 years now.
>Failed his apprenticeship as an electrician because he spends so much time on it.
>Really cute gf left him.
>Most of his videos have 10 or less views, with most of them coming from himself.
>Rightfully so.
>Videos are fucking awful.
>Only plays AAA shit after everyone has done so because he's to poor to buy them and waits for cracks.
>Shit tier gameplay and turbo cringe commentary.
>Actively ruins his life.
>Our parents are sick off it and want to kick him out.
>He still thinks he's going to make it any day and that he'll make tons of money and even acts smug about it.
>"Like I'm dumb enough to work a normal job when I can make 10x more on youtube."
Little brother is trying to become a gaming youtuber
I'm not reading all that trash you stupid fucking wojakposter. Fucking kill yourself, you dumb nigger.
based
The problem with people who follow their dreams is that they're relying solely on those dreams. They don't improve their craft and hone their skill in that field whatsoever.
There is no doubt that he has a guilty conscience in his mind, he's living in denial. You need to sit down and seriously talk with him about it.
There's a reason I'm making money and views off YT and he's not. He doesn't even know what he's doing with himself. Even then, YT isn't my fucking lifeline.
I'm also assuming he's lacking in knowledge in just about everything else in life. Dap on this retard.
It's a gamble, as is all stardom. Either it goes really well or it goes really shit and there's very little in between.
High risk, high reward.
At least he still has his soul, user. What do you have?
This but with streaming. My little brother tries to act like Tyler1 and thinks his CSGO montages and streaming is gonna make him famous.
Sometimes I wonder how many hundreds of thousands of stupid kids are doing this shit on twitch and youtube right now, hoping to get rich doing what everyone else is doing.
parents need to take his pc away and internet access. you should pour water all over his tech
Unironically take away his GPU.
Post his channel
At this point kids would probably have a easier time getting into hollywood acting then being successful at youtube. It's that oversaturated.
Being a youtuber/streamer is the new sports star. It's not going to ruin any more lives than people wanting to be in the NBA did.
How old is he? I think you need to tell him the harsh truth.
OP makes this thread at least once every other day lurk more
post channel
At least with NBA you'd have to be fit. Kids now are wanting to do nothing but play video games now.
We need more people like you, but unfortunately any posting in threads like these is a reinforcer for faggot OP, so actually you're worse than him.
Isn't there some statistic like there's more streamers on Twitch than viewers? Or is that not actually true? If it was that's really fucking sad though.
But playing sports is at least a physical activity that improves people and can be a good way to meet people.
This is sad. Give him a wake-up call.
Zig Forums isn't your personal blog. this is tangentially related to games, so it doesn't count.
It's even worse for girls wanting to be athletes.
Imagine having to compete against transgender "females" smashing all womens records and taking all the podiums.
I'm pretty sure this applies to onlyfans too.
There's more camwhore accounts than active fan accounts.
The odds of "making it" on Youtube are astronomically low. For every one somewhat successful channel there are at least 100 failed ones. And some of those failed channels produce quality content, it just doesn't find it's audience fast enough.
Shut up
well at least he's not a wojakposter
You're not liable to make much money off Youtube, unless you're right at the very top.
And even then, those guys have to take sponsorships/ad reads. Most bigger names get enough for rent and bills at best, on average just some extra spending money alongside their regular job.
For most people, it's like a couple bucks a week.
Not video games
You'll never be a woman
I have a little brother who isgoing to be a Hearthstone caster. He spent about 6 months doing "recognition" (as in "unpaid") work for minor online games for other literally whos on Twitch. I tried to watch a few times but everything about it was just sub-mediocre.
>below-average commenting, lot's of boring filler and not enough knowledge about the game to predict plays or give useful insight
>cringe zoomer-humor, lot's of dabbing, dead memes, poggers and unfunny shit in an attempt to sound cool
>shit tier recording equipment (stop trying to record with a headset mic, there's a reason no one that's "made it" does this)
>we're not American and our accent isn't particularly pleasant to listen to in English, coupled with him not being very fluent makes me wonder why he wouldn't just cast in his native language
And all this you're doing in front of 5 viewers (peak) on a game that'll be dead in a few years.
How can I help him Zig Forums?
Everyone thinks JonTron's throne is up for grabs, and that they're going to be making millions a year ranting about decade old TV shows.
Is this before or after they pay their editors, writers and thumbnail artists?
