yakuza thread

kuze was a shit character and didn't deserve such a badass ost, nor does he deserve the love and respect fans give him

>call it Yakuza: Like a Dragon despite being Yakuza 7 and having the same namesake in Japan
I will avoid the game just for that purpose alone.

still waiting for crack

More like Yaluza: Like A Faggot AHAHAHAHAHA

>no one talks about the true GOTY
but there's a noita thread almost 24/7

if it was called 7, fans would be even angrier that they changed the combat for the better

>play Yakuza 5
>get to Haruka's chapter
>she's a fucking woman now out of nowhere
>Yakuza depicts the Japanese fairly realistically looking and my majority experience of looking at real Japanese women is porn
>all i can see in my head now while looking at Haruka is how fucking thick her pussy hair must be, because we all know she has that fucking wild hairy shit going on like all Nippons do
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

He had a basic stupid role and performed it well, a good look, and a badass ost

That's all you fucking need for a rival character

>shit character
he's great tho

he gets his ass handed to him every day, is a doormat, and after all that continues being an arrogant dumb cunt

at least other rivals speak about their ambitions and changed perspectives when you beat them, but kuze doesn't do jackshit, he is neither a chad nor a redeemed asshole, he is a delusional whack that grew comfy in his yakuza life, basically awano except awano was a fucking top bloke and died for his honor and pride, meanwhile kuze gets his pride shattered, then spends the ENTIRE GAME trying to pick up the pieces, we never even reach a fucking conclusion to his character arc, his final fight and talk is just a send off for kiryu to his next mission thats all it fucking was I wanted to actually hear him talk about himself

Yakuza 7 looks next gen compared to cyberpunk

Sorry, my Naruto phase ended at 14.

holy fuck talk about missing the point

Tendo is literally Kuze done right. They're both boxers who ended up in the yakuza except Tendo remained a total beast and still aiked for the top while Kuze just...got his ass kicked over and over.

>shit character
The dragon of rock bottom the only thing i did not like about him was that he for gave the traitor Nanba

>literally Persona with old people and le wacky Yakuza humor
>abandon intense action gameplay for braindead turn based combat
>goty
No

>literally Persona
>braindead turn based combat
holy zoom zoom batman

How many chapters are there in 7? I'm at 13.

>intense action gameplay

>literally Persona

There's a bugsnax thread up right now though

The entire point of Kuze's character is his confrontation with his own insignificance in the grander scheme of things, which is pounded into him over and over by Kiryu
Him fighting Kiryu time and again just shows his inability to accept that fact and deludes himself into thinking he's something he's not
The fifth fight he has with Kiryu is when he finally accepts that truth and admits that he never expected to beat him in the first place

Retard. They do that so now they have a name to use for non yakuza related spin-offs.

>abandon intense action gameplay
That was only ever true in the OG game and only because Kiryu handled like a slow truck while everyone else could fuck you up.
The rest of the games are made for mashing buttons.

Saejima pls

>play CP2077 for a couple hours last night
>horrible buggy mess
>runs like shit on my 1080
>can't even find any 3000 series cards to buy
>nvidia wont even let me spend my money
>held off on this game as I didn't want to stop playing when CP2077 came out
>check the steam page
>legendary edition 30% off

Well fuck it, guess I'm waiting for CP2077 to get fixed and I'll play this right now.

I bought 3 4 5 but haven't touched them should i just take a loss of money and buy the collection?

>there aren't enough fucking 2077 threads up let's start posting about it in unrelated video game threads

Any spoiler free tips for people starting the game out, then? I only mentioned it, not going to talk about it at all here. Chill out, schizo

Just got absolutely manhandled in chapter 12. Goddamn they shouldn't have made the Sotenbori Arena sound like an optional thing to do later. Enemies are now 20 levels higher than me out of fucking nowhere.

Kids grow up fast when they hit their mid teens.

I hear this game is piss easy on even the hardest difficulties. Might as well have just bit the bullet and turned it into a drama already.

>"Why yes, I exclusively play turn-based games. How could you tell?"

>I hear this game is piss easy on even the hardest difficulties
All jrpgs are.

Play more JRPGs.

I've played more than 100. None of them are hard. Turn based games are not hard.

For me the issue is more just turn based games in general are bad at implementing higher difficulties. Without just jacking up the levels / stats of enemies, they don't normally change anything else. Therefore "hard" just becomes "more grindy". You end up doing the same things, but takes 5x as long to do them.

>All jrpgs are.
