Keanu Chungus dies
the tortanic we waited for all these years
only thing that could live up to it us a botched hl3
Basically people with AMD pc's moaning about shit performance on max settings. Like really, what did you expect?
the cracks are starting to show
>72%
lol that's actually not that good
at least it's 91 metacritic (the only score that means something)
Game is a turd painted in gold. With more bugs than an ant hill.
really? They fucking recommend just a 1060 6gb, jesus
Game came out
It's actually a lot of fun, I've been playing it a lot, there's shitloads of character build options so I see myself replaying it tons.
Though there are some bugs and issues with it, most of the worst bugs have been patched. Still needs some work though.
Zig Forums shat itself constantly for hours and hours on end with shitposting threads calling it bad to farm (You)s and be contrarian.
Ultimately it's a fun but buggy game.
Don't drive the cars anywhere though, the driving sucks donkey dick because all the vehicles have obscenely bad turning circles and super unresponsive acceleration and braking. It's like trying to drive around a giant bar of wet soap that just slides all over the place and crashes into walls and pedestrians (and eventually you hit a cop by accident and the police fuck you up). Plus the map design is really too realistic for the driving to be any fun (the streets are narrow and there's too much traffic, meaning you have to actually follow some semblance of road laws or crash into shit all the time)
I'm running the game on Ultra settings at 1080p with my 1070 and it's running smooth as butter.
I know I'm basically saying "works on my machine" but as long as you turn resource wasting garbage like gay tracing off it works fucking fine
They're deleting negative reviews.
I'm curious, were you not bothered that the game railroads you into a street thug, despite what path you choose?
cdpr underestimated the minium pc requirements hard. performance is shit on pc.
The real reviews are gradually arriving.
Just wait for the Metacritic for all platforms
That's Act 1
People played the game
it will go gradualy to 80-90 like million of people still are in the game so i would assume these people play the game with no problem
You can kill niggers 9/10
no
I expected the backstory stuff to be a whole lot of nothing
I got 3600x and 5700xt and play at 1440p at 57fps though.
>What the fuck happened??
You got blown the fuck out.
i got the same specs
ultra or what?
the negative ones are spam only so Steam should remove them for misrepresenting the true score
Not particularly, then again I chose Street Kid which is basically the canon path so that probably made it feel like less of an issue for me specifically.
CDPR games have pretty much always been narrative driven games with a fairly linear main storyline too so I guess I was expecting it to be kinda like that. I mean it's not like you have no choice or that it affects nothing since you get unique dalogue options based on your starting path.
I'm seeing it as working the same as it does on tabletop. The "Path" is essentially your character's backstory that you gave the GM and then they take you on an adventure that ultimately has the backstory only having a minor impact on how you interact throughout that adventure.
It's a shit scam game that biased reviewers grossly overrated because not giving it a 10/10 would hamper their own enjoyment of the game they were looking forward to.
It's a blatantly unfinished game that should've been delayed well into 2021.
This game legitimately has the same endings as mass effect 3
>youtu.be
Mine sometimes dips down to 30, what would you suggest I turn off?
have to lower volumetric fog, cascade shadows resolution, screensapce reflections and clouds down one notch
basically stuff that doesn't actually make it look worse
ah, and I got clutter down to high from ultra
also people say changing NPC density helps, in gameplay options, but I didn't have to do that yet
the game is alright, despite the bugs
just took a look at r/cyberpunkgame, reddit did a complete 180 on this game. wtf happened?
Most of negative reviews on Steam are always of technical nature. Basically "game runs poorly for me" variety.
Not enough crunch
This is the correct take.
They probably will cull a bunch of reviews that were posted with like 10 minutes of game time before spamming the meme review you wrote up in advance of the game even coming out.
It's an easy enough criteria for them to use to automatically delete any review with less than an hour of game time behind it and just leave it at that.
totalbiscuit bred "pc gaymers" what did you expect?
NVIDIA & Intel here, game doesn't even launch. Filing a lawsuit right now.
I don't know, user. Are you bothered by the very every story-focused game has a pre-written plot and your character, even if customizable, can't deviate form it? Because that's your argument.
Yes, me too. But typically well written RPGs don't railroad you into a certain point of view.
ah, so the perfect game for the masterrace and by looking at those steam reviews it shows
And should technical grievances just be discarded outright? Also- people are saying that the narrative is shit and that Keanu Reeve's acting is scene-shatteringly awful.
people expected a product they paid for to work
crazy I know
keep sucking corporate cock
It's a console game at first, CDPR stopped being a mainly PC developer after the first Witcher game.
Good lord I can't believe we're at the point where the fucking steam review score is getting multiple fucking threads an hour. This is beyond pathetic. This has been a genuine new fucking low for Zig Forums.
I didn't expect it to be an RPG either
all I wanted was techno-GTA, and it does okay at that
Absolutely not, but they should be taken for what they are. It's why something like a review aggregate needs further breaking down. Not to mention it's not a review in the first place.
Not sure, I just put everything on ultra.
Now that I think about it it might be my CPU, considering how many of the options are probably super CPU heavy like NPC density, clutter, etc where it's probably more about people's CPUs struggling to keep up.
My CPU is significantly better than it needs to be so that might actually be what's making my game run so well.
>contrarian
For fucks sake this word is so ubiquitous as of late its peppered in every single thread you have to be the same guy
Why are you so angry? Go play a game
>a buggy console game getting such high praise on pc
not sure if thats even better desu
That's the fucking problem though, that it doesn't deviate. No matter what you want to do, it's set in stone. It's almost as if... this isn't an RPG. Which is fine I guess, but I imagine people would be less disappointed if ti wasn't marketed as such.
Kind of funny to me considering I think that's the first time I've ever used that word on this site at all.
So sorry but no, I'm not some boogeyman who has nothing better to do. Maybe you see that word showing up a lot because it's an apt description of the current state of this board?
we hurt ourselves today, cybersisters...
I mean, it appears that the game buckled in other spheres of design as well- as I mentioned.
Too many people thinking they were getting some kind of second life shit where they could RP the character of their dreams 24/7.
Now they have a janky looter shooter that kicked their RP choice into the grass after 20 mins.
>Just wait for the Metacritic for all platforms
yeah the reviews for PS4 and Xbone are going to be disastrous. it barely runs on those.
try to COPE it all away..
but Zig Forums remembers everything..
Far Cry 2077
we lost Zig Forumsros...
It's over. The reality of the situation is starting to set in and people are finally seeing that Cyberpunk 2077 is a massive blunder.
It's without fail the same context- always espousing CDPR's mediocrity and making apologia.
If it isn't one person then that just makes cybersneeds come across as even more monolithic and pathetic.
like the No Man's Sky subreddit, they were too trusting about the dev's promises and expected a much bigger and more immersive game than they were given.
You don't know what an RPG is.
An RPG is a video game where you have stats, character customization and where you play a role.
There is no inherent requirement that the role you play within the story has to be one you specifically picked for yourself.
Also like 95 percent of RPGs have a linear main story that barely or straight up doesn't deviate. This is not something new to the genre.
Reddit is really in flames over this, jesus fuck
I started the Zig Forumsro meme
gib royalties
I hate the gunplay
Maybe.
Or maybe, if everyone keeps telling you that you're wrong, it's because you're wrong?
You want a 1:1 tabletop adaptation and you'll never ever get that. Let alone in something with a budget.
Cybertrannies...it's over
>Agree with the consensus-reality! The majority are always vindicated!
Literal automaton-level thinking
CDPR fans exist on a lower Platonic strata of Being than normal people confirmed
also:
>maybe, just MAYBE...
that is kinda retarted take of it most people who did buy the game now playing it they do not go to reddit and Zig Forums to cry atleast most of them i did take pause after while
they thought they were getting the second coming of Christ when anyone with eyes could see we're getting Witcher 3 + Deus Ex: Human Revolution
for what its worth I'm enjoying it
Yeah, about that.
So it turned out to be CDPR's Tortanic after all.
>he went full on into crafting
reminder that idiots like these get review copies and you don't
What is your CPU?
I do have 1070 as well but it ain't super smooth. I have a i5-8400 CPU.
