Why are zoomers like this?

>Why are zoomers like this?
I don't know, but shit like this only solidifies the fact that I'll never make a multiplayer game. If I ever do make a game

This happens with 99% of things, often in an even shorter time scale. Anything you can point out that breaks this pattern is a rare exception and not the standard.

It's literally just whatever flavour of the month is popular on twitch and then it dies out, because they're not good games

I'm still playing Fall Guys, along with all the other patricians who didn't get filtered.

>Why are flavor of the month steamer games a fad?
You already knew the answer to this OP, but here's a (You) anyway.

>newfag finally learns what flavor of the month means

i.q = 75

Why not? Just make a FOTM game, push it hard on meme marketing and you can make all your money in one go and then be lazy as shit with support.

Why would you play the one same game for months and months in a row?
I know some people basically ONLY play World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Counter Strike, or DOTA, or Diablo, but why would you do that?
I'd rather play through a dozen different 6/10 indie games in a year, than play the same 9/10 AAA+ game all year long.

>Friend asks me to buy this
>Plays 3 rounds where people immediately leave at start

Are there exceptions? Pretty sure everything drops off rapidly after a few weeks/months, the only difference is where the playerbase will stabilize.

Because a new FOTM has appeared.

The game gets boring quickly.

ADHD

>Says this while csgo keep going strong
Cope zoomer

It's only worth it for private games in discord with actual friends.

apparently that XQC guy made Among Us big, even though it was out for years.

Zoomers are weak to Influencers.
influencers jump off a bridge and they follow.

This. I have no idea how I keep seeing threads about games "dying". Literally how retarded do you have to be to think that a game failed or it is bad because most users that bought the game didn't care to stay forever? I genuinely don't understand how you expect every game to be as undying as something like TF2 or Minecraft.
Almost all games go through this, multiplayer or singleplayer - people buy with hype, they play through it and only the dedicated community stays with random new players joining as they find about the game over the next years if game is good and months if it's not so good.

A game has to be exceptionally well made for people to keep playing it.

The problem with fall guys is that it has too much trolling and forces you to play bad games.
If you ever played Counter Strike you'll know that the most popular map was Dust2 and they didn't stop people from playing it over and over again. Dust2 is pretty much the perfect map and its still fun to play.
Imagine if CS forced you play a really shitty map like CS_Assult. People would stop playing your game. It would be absolute shit if you had to play CS_Assult first and only got to play De_Dust2 after winning a bunch of other maps.
Also the fact that in fall guys it doesn't matter if you're good or not at the game, you'll loose if there's too many people doing one thing. That's not good gameplay. That's just trolling your customers.

Anyway these things that people don't like chisel at the fun in a game.
When people buy a game they're willing to put in some effort to make the game fun for themselves, but if you're just making the game a shit show for everyone no ones going to play it after a month.

I don't know much about among us. It seems fun, but forcing your players to talk seems like a hassle and probably gets tiresome after a while especially if you're making your players lie and cheat each other which takes a lot of effort.

It's just a copy of secret hitler

Fad culture is so transparent
>pewdiepie (who's probably just a guy in over his head who hates his audience at this point but can't get off the train) plays among us
>zoomer and Zig Forums flooded with threads for months
>dies
>repeat
So predictable and the games they attach themselves to are crappy

>I fell for fotm but I'm too low iq to realize I've been had, also I have buyers remorse and shit taste in games
Congrats

Its just mafia for zoomers. Probably took 4hrs to make

Now post the stats from mobile since it's free there.

They're still better games that most that come out.
I'd rather play fall guys and among us than most triple A movie shit that costs millions to make and are oversaturated in the market. At least FG and AU have lasting value. Movie games are $60 and only last a few hours.

Nearly 0 replay value so you feel grief when its done because you just spent $60 on a pile of shit so you have to look forward to the next one which is also going to be a pile of shit.

>Hackers
>Bad servers
>Not on mobile/xbox
>Extremely repetitive if played for long
>Season 2 was disappointing
>Few new maps
>Still no lobby games
>Still no player made custom maps
And streamers ditching it for Last of Us was the cherry on top

Dumbed down version of Clue

Hackers? How do you hack in this game?

Fall Guys? More like Uninstalled Guys.

no one has ever hacked like that on ps4. also those people commenting on it are probably hackers
