Its not like something drastic has changed in videogames in the last 10 years. Only graphics have improved a bit but nothing jawdroping. Its no wonder gta iv still feels fresh

I'm in the middle of replaying it on Steam, man am I having fun. About to wrap up the main story after doing all the side content, then it's on to TLAD and Gay Tony.
After not enjoying RDR2 or GTA5 in the slightest, this has been a real blast to go back to.

gtaV is a materpiece as is, the only ones who don't agree with that are Zig Forums parrot plebs who only communicate in memes.

Even considering that, GTA IV is the second highest selling game in the series.

It already is. Time continues to move and children are experiencing these games the same way older players experienced GTA 4, SA, VC, and 3. Its the eternal cycle we are in.

GTA V was mediocre in comparison in a lot of ways, but RDR2 apart from the shitty moralistic borderline SJW crap and the unwittingly hypocritical protagonist feels like a spiritual successor to IV.

Toward the end of the game Arthur began to remind me of Niko with how reflective he becomes about his role in the world as little more than a killer.

A.I. is not even close moron. GTAV had a deep nps system it just did scream at you and it was in the background. Only the cop/wanted system was annoying but the rest is 10x better.

Yeah, I just feel that Niko's hypocrisy was more of a plot point in IV. Arthur continues massacring blue collar Joes all the way to the end, unfortunately. Niko is never really redeemed, at least.

Niko finds peace in the end.
