3H is a great game user. Byleth is also super fun to play as too considering their different weapon abilities. If you look past the “it’s another FE character” they’re actually one of the better characters in terms of play style added in the DLC.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Joker set a horrible precedent for this series that no one realized because he's a cool character from a franchise whose fanbase overlaps with Nintendo fans. You look at a character like Jonesy and say that you don't want him in, but he objectively has more reason to be in Smash over Joker.

Again, I liked Joker from a personal standpoint but it's hard to complain (though I can understand if you do) about characters like Steve and Jonesey if the barriers to entry no longer exist. That's why third parties should have stuck to Sonic and Mega Man.

Three Houses is a great game, Byleth is the worst character in that game. He/She was intentionally a blank slate protagonist that's even more generic than Robin and Corrin who had personalities. Any of the three lords would have been a better pick but Sakurai only ever chooses the protagonists of franchises which is why Fire Emblem has such poor diversity.
