Announced too early, too many changes from the original concept and 2018 footage, complete ignorance as to what cyberpunk fans enjoy about the genre and/or tabletop game, focusing on getting a wide audience rather than sticking with the core fans, confusing "edgy" and "mature," using misleading advertising and teases to build massive hype, not even working on the game until like a year or two before the deadline, then continually throwing out surprise delays.

It's a fascinating mess, really.

It's the same relative quality as all the Witchers. The first one was even more buggy at release. Then they keep patching it until, twenty "free dlcs" and months later, the game is good to play. Same exact situation here. The difference is that it's not a tiny indie studio anymore in the eyes of the consumers, so things are not as easily forgiven. The game has also been extremely overhyped.
