What makes a horror game good to you?
For me it's sound design and music.
Things like Darkwood or SOMA are really good at giving me chills.
Especially SOMA because I hate the ocean.
What makes a horror game good to you?
THICC
I'd tap
God I wish that were me
What the hell is that thing
>I hate the ocean
This is exactly why I can't play Subnautica.
Fuck the ocean.
It's super dark, nearly endless, the pressure can crush you, and there's a bunch of creepy aliens living down there that science can barely explain.
All that plus we don't really know all what's down there.
And what we do know is fucking bizarre.
focus on making a good game with decent gameplay and story first, insert unsettling things later
I hate those "stereotypic horror" games people play for jumpscare earrape chainsaw man every 4 minutes
I think jumpscares can be fine, but only when you least expect it.
Like, have it mostly be suspense and atmosphere to build tension, and when things have quieted down for awhile THEN you lay on the jumpscare.
But yeah, make a good game first and foremost.
Cute monstergirls.
I don't know, I got it off the nightmare waifu thread on /aco/ a few months back.
basically, when the game advertises itself "play this game to get scared!" my expectations are low, instead sell the atmosphere and characters to me
Safe rooms not ashtray always being safe.
Why do I find creatures like this attractive Zig Forums?
The unsettling things should be a core part of the gameplay, not separate from it.
Any examples of games that you think sell their atmosphere right?
Exotica, at least for me.
Humans are fucking boring.
not him but SOMA is a good recent example
You want to be a drippy monster girl with a hole in her face?
cute ghost girls
Yeah that's pretty understandable. I wish there was a lot more of things that cater to my taste.
>look it up
>deep sea
Well that alone is enough to spook me.
This.
Is this game actually any good?
it has ghost cunny what else do you need
Nightmarish girls? Good stuff.
It's okay for a playthrough. The 5 dollar dlc is nice.
It has some cool looking monsters.
Also it's not the jumpscares you have to worry abour.
I lean more towards monster/Xeno side but nightmare paranormal is fine too
Personally, I just like power gap romance. The problem with human women is they're all weak and flabby, the average man could kill almost any woman bare-handed if he so desired. But when you add a big fucking monster into the mix things get more interesting.
why does any semblance of thicc thighs make me want to ravenously fuck it?
Yeah, the idea of a creature that could snap you in half like a twig being romantically interested enough in you to NOT do that is hot to me.
It's like the old saying goes: "Thick thighs save lives."
What other games have cute ghost girls?
