Are you a casual?
I fear not the man who has played 1000 games for 1 hour, but the man who has played 1 game for 1000 hours.
yes I am a casual.
hardcore gaming is for fags.
>tfw a soccer mom who downloads a new app on her phone every week is more hardcore than world record speed runners
I've lost count since high school. What are you, a casual?
I played Guild Wars 1 for 4000 hours, am I god to you?
no idea how many desu
I've played around 55 games this year alone, but maybe less than than 300 in total. I only really started playing games in 2016.
> MMO
Actually no you aren't. True retard neckbeards have 30,000 hours in WoW at least
How the FUCK would I keep track of that over my entire life?
I've played every game in a 1000 in 1 handheld
>He doesn't use backloggery
Never gonna make it
>no swimming pool in the camp
it's like you don't even want to meme
Notepad++
600+ chad
This, gaming hours would be a much more relevant metric for this.
What's the minimum you need to have played to have extensive knowledge on the game design? Like being able to notice flaws in games that journos & normies wouldn't pick up on
got 2000 hours in tf2 and i'm not the best but can get mvp playing with little effort
>highest option is 500
I've played at least twice that over the past quarter century but I'm still a casual. A guy who has thousands of hours in one game deserves more respect than 99% of the posters in this thread
So you fear most gamers?
nigga I played vidya since I was like 2 years old, why would I write things down? and there's no way to remember all those games now, kind of pointless
I've beaten around 200 games since 2015 but I've been trying more new games compared to when I was a kid, so I'll say around 400~
I'm a zoomer and i like to finish games, you know?
People who've played 500+ or even 1000 games, what do you consider the best ones?
Exactly. OP's question is fucking retarded and isn't a good measurement of anything.
Steam Library : about 120 titles
Out of Steam PC games : probably sixty or so,
About 100 other games on various portable platforms
About 30 consoles games
So yeah 300 is probably a good ballpark. I dunno how many hours, I wonder if Steam shows you the total number of hours played on all games
i tried to do an audit of every game i could remember having played, it wound up being the 400 range
most were played to completion but my criteria for being able to list it was "at least 15 minutes in game"
This just favors older people when games were only 5-10$, blockbuster rentals, and magazine demos were a thing. Also chipped consoles to an extent. There also used to be a lot more smaller studios making more games than the stunted release of today.
The real thing to contrast a casual is hours sunk into a game and maybe the difficulty of the game/competition level of it.
>This just favors older people when games were only 5-10$, blockbuster rentals, and magazine demos were a thing
And younger people with Gamepass, Humble, and Epic accounts
F-Zero GX is the last game i gave a 10/10, Prime 2 is up there as well
I have 4000+ hours in yugioh WC 2011
Across all my consoles I definitely have played over 300 games. On Xbone alone I own 125.
I have nearly 5000 hours on GMOD
