The PC version is buggy mess and always crashing during saving in certain parts if you own an old CPU, because some instructions (AVX) are missing and I have that old Xeon W3690 (paired with RTX 2060).
Should I wait for the patch or just buy a PS4 version (I pirated PC version anyway)? Is it 1080p on base PS4 fat?

You just need a decent connection; ethernet works well. You can try GFN free for an hour a session or play the Immortals Fenyx Rising demo on Stadia. I grabbed it from Stadia just because they throw in a free Chromecast and controller and you don't need to subscribe, just pay $60 once.
