I've seen people act like Cyberpunk will be a gift from God, but now everyone hates it for some reason. Most of the non bug-related complaints I've seen are people complaining about things missing that were never even promised.
You did this to yourselves, putting too much expectation on it. Everything they promised is here, and everything the reviewers from a few months back said is there hasn't been changed, but suddenly, everyone's acting like we didn't get what was promised.
Cyberpunk isn't the game you expected, because you expected too much. CDPR set out to make a good game, not the greatest game of all time.
>now everyone hates it for some reason It's probably several things - the default Zig Forums contrarianism mixed with people actually believing the ironic shitposting plus angry trannies. Zig Forums loves to huff their own hate-hype farts and embarass themselves
Cooper Martinez
The fuck are you on? No one on Zig Forums was expecting this to be "god's gift".
Gavin Hill
Maybe some people just don't like it user. You act like the only reasonable position is to have low expectations and be consistently happy with whatever shit you're served up to consoom.
Matthew Gutierrez
>people talking about the freedom to play your own game >it’s just an onrail shooter with lackluster customization and some ghost anarchist stringing you along
John Turner
>everything they promised is here Then why did they lie about the required specs?
Luke Torres
Most people here like it though
Tyler Green
Holy fucking shit the CDPR cult is a blight on this world
The game fucking sucks you insane asshole. Even without the bugs it’s still shit.
Elijah Allen
The sidequests are kind of boring desu, not going to lie the new Yakuza had better sidequests.
Elijah Perry
>CDPR set out to make a good game, not the greatest game of all time. People are retarded to believing it, but actually this is exactly what CDPR said they were trying to do
>talks about cults while blindly riding the hate train lmao From what I've seen it's decent. I don't particularly care about it one way or the other but I'm gonna play it at some point.
Nicholas Evans
>blindly >from I’ve seen it’s decent I too took a vow of non complaint my fellow big chungus 9gag brother
Liam Cook
its pretty fucking awesome but i recommend getting back in 3 months - unless you have a 1500 euro system or dont mind playing on 30 fps
Oliver Martin
not a good game, gunplay is mediocre, driving feels terrible, no rpg elements, little to no choices in dialogue, borderland tier guns, level locked armor???, spongy enemies make combat a chore, the world npcs have different audio voices and terrible AI, railroad missions, too much trash loot and hard to see UI.
Its a shit game even with all the bugs fixed, just bad game design.
Isaiah Wright
>you people >everyone hates it So everyone is Zig Forums and during development cycle literally everyone on Zig Forums thought it was going to be God's gift? Sounds to me like you are a massive redditor fag trannoid
Xavier Ward
i expected alot if im honest with how much i enjoyed the witcher but bugs aside this is a really average game. The gunplay is lacking oomph compared to first person shooters like cod, the open world is empty and has duplicate npcs, gta v is ancient and after playing an hour you can tell is the better game when it comes to open world. Cars just feel weird, like there is no weight and you are floating along at one speed, again compared to gta which you can zip through heavy traffic at crazy speeds. Some features seem bizarre, like they are added for the shock factor or to say look how progressive we are. Have you noticed how many lootable dildo's are on the streets? different types too, at one point i had 15 in my bags, why would these things be valuable enough to pick up.
Dominic Fisher
This is why I never have a will to enjoy anything and constantly have low expectations
Aiden Gutierrez
People hyped it too much cause of witcher 3. Reddit memed it out to be the holy grail of games then put that onto cyberpunk. I think it'll be fine after more time is put into it. No man's sky turned out alright albeit 400 years later but at least they did the right thing. I will buy it down the road
Jackson Sullivan
>I really don't understand you people

imo it looked like shit from the start, I despise the punk aesthetic a lot, could have never enjoyed it even if it was good
Lucas Morales
> I've seen people act like Cyberpunk will be a gift from God, but now everyone hates it for some reason.
Literally nobody liked it.
> Most of the non bug-related complaints I've seen are people complaining about things missing that were never even promised.
We were promised the most immersive cyberpunk role playing game and instead its an on-rails games that really offers nothing other than dicks and trannys.
> You did this to yourselves, putting too much expectation on it. Everything they promised is here
Nope, as much as I can appreciate a 7/8 year effort from creatives building a game, you can't create a hype train based on some fantasy image of your game and then sell it broke as shit for near top tier price and get away with the "well think of their feelings". They promised diamonds and they delivered shit.
> Cyberpunk isn't the game you expected, because you expected too much
I already had low expectations for it, and it managed to go even lower than that.
Adam Bailey
Don't like arguing about personal opinions but saying the world is empty and GTA V had a better open world is kind of bullshit. I feel like a single district in CP2077 has more stuff crammed in it than the entire city part of GTA V.
Andrew Morgan
>V either dies, dies in 6 months or gets taken over by Johnny Nice fucking ending variety you have there Really fucking impressed You had 7 fucking years to at least imitate DX1's greatness and you failed even at that.
What's bad about it? Bugs? I don't give a shit, I'll play it 6 months later. Voice acting is great, gameplay seems about on the level of the new Deus Ex games. Music is objectively shit and I'm gonna be disappointed if you can't customize cars, that's about it. It's pretty sad when you have to jump on hate bandwagons to feel good about your shit life, lmao.

This is literally a Reddit post from r/cyberpunkgame. This whole thread got baited. Yes I browse Reddit too, what are you gonna do about it?
