The Great Debate

Which does Zig Forums use in their gaming rig?

liquid if you are planning in OCing so hard you will break world records
a good aircooler wins in any other scenario

Whatever has the most RGB on it.

Unless you care about aesthetics or running an oc, air is fine. Hell even the bigger air coolers can handle overclocking just fine.

>picking water when Noctua can cool better with air
gee, guess I'll choose the one with more failure points then

Brown noctua

fpbp

liquid AIO leaked on my shit once
never again
BIG MONSTER FUCKING HEATSINK MASTER RACE

>noctua
What is this 2012? Go back to your cave.

did it cause any permanent damage to your components?

Air unless you're building a meme itx machine the size of your dick.

spoken likes a true rgb consoomer.

air is all you need.

What kind of aio?

the highest word record breaking OC machines are running custom liquid cooling or some weird shit like liquid nitrogen

Thats exactly what he said retard

Yeah, but who gives a shit about specialization contests?

maybe op
i heard he likes sucking fat cocks so it cant be far from him

try reading

Air

>Quieter, no obnoxious pump sound
>Easier to install
>Lasts longer with less parts that can break
>Outperforms reasonably priced AiOs

Whereas with liquid
>Only worthwhile if using in a tiny case that can't fit a bigger air cooler
>Better RGB options

And let me tell you, if you give a shit about RGB options you're a god damned retard.

Air
Had a Corsair AIO and the pump died in a year

rgb faggots

I just built a PC and went with AIO because I just hate how air coolers look. I was going for pure aesthetics so I had to go with a corsair 360mm AIO with rgb fans

Actually many air coolers have liquid in the heatpipes...

>dissing rgb because you think it's always rainbow mode
Sounds like your PCs look like shit

Cheap Air cooler = 100% reliable, last longer, and perform decent enough for the average users
High-End Air cooler = same above, but perform really good as liquid, but too big (you may need a big case for enough room for the best air cooler) and very expensive - still worth every penny.
AIO = perform highest, poor reliable, short lifespan (and then leak more = damage the expensive components), a bit cheaper than high-end air cooler

lmao rekt

>bought a liquid cooler from corsair
>bout 80$
>literally just plug and play
I dont get what other people are using to make coolers so memed

corsair h100i
no. It dripped onto the gpu pcb but there was no damage and no loss in performance

>Pump noise intensifies

air because i build in huge monolith cases where space is of no concern and i don't oc nearly high enough to warrant liquid.
that said it would be a lot of fun to build a liquid cooled machine (the real thing not ghetto loops) for someone else, i don't want to deal with the maintenance.

AIO is nice for the size factor. Air and AIO can get about the same performance, but too match each other you end up with a giant engine block of an air cooler that covers your ram and sags. I got tired of the hassle and trying to make sure they fit in a case I like.

Custom loop if you OC. AIO if you like to have easy install and quiet with plenty of room. Air if you don't mind a the size.

its completely silent tho idk what you guys mean by pump noise

>Turning your computer into a fucking lamp

You are a mental midget.
