Tfw gtx 970
you're not missing out on much, all style no substance. actual gameplay is boring and a derivative mismatch of other existing games
1060 6GB's performance in Ultra and High are essentially the same. Makes no fucking sense.
I have a RX570.
So from this chart i can tell i can play the game at 1080p with at least 30fps.
Not bad for my old rig.
>1080ti can hit 60 fps at 1080p
this here: I got the codex version earlier and didnt even get past the character select screen. I just cant be bothered with nu-triple-aaa games.
The game is all kinds of fucked up right now and probably has little optimization for nvidia cards because of all the console gens its comming out for being AMD parts.
>5700XT only barely edges out 2060S
OH NONONONONONONO
>gtx960
im getting 45fps in the city on my 3570k @ stock, 16gb ddr3 1600mhz and rx 580 8gb
Thank god. It's perfectly playable and the detail is amazing. All low @ 1080p but textures on high. Easily the best looking game I've played when I am indoors. Seriously the lighting is spectacular.
game probably doesn't load ultra assets with the 1060's paltry amount of ram
You don't need to play on ultra settings to be able to enjoy a game guys.
>top of the line gpu from 3 years ago designed for high refresh 1440p gaming cant hit 60 fps in 1080p 3 years later
this is why pc gaming is a joke
Tech moves on boomer.
Yea. In one game.
>considered buying a 3070 or 3060Ti once prices stabilize a bit in my country
>tfw R5 2600
Might as well just not upgrade fucking anything because I won't get 60 FPS with anything below a €360 CPU minimum and it's only going to get worse from here on out
i don't get why cyberpunk is so cpu demanding when the witcher 3 runs fine on a dual core
Could just be poor optimization. Like how emulation and some console ports are CPU bound too.
Probably fired their old code monkeys for some diversity hires
Higher quality textures won't exactly impact performance outside of some stuttering once you've hit your VRAM cap, and Cyberpunk's sure don't look like they can easily fill up 6GB.

>Playable under, let's be generous, 80 fps
Yeah, right. Shooters need to be better optimized or compromise their looks, but at 45fps they're unplayable.
Idk if this game just has shit optimization or what but I literally get up to 80% CPU usage in Cyberpunk despite being on a fucking 10600kf
Literally the most cpu demanding title I've ever played but I can't believe it's bringing a cpu that came out earlier this year to its knees
>witcher 3 runs fine on a dual core
Bullshit
the framerate that it's faster than 99% of the time
I mean I at least played the game for 6 hours or so. GTA/Fallout/Borderlands hybrid with very little action, mostly dialogue. Difficulty settings only seem to increase hp pools of enemies so no point playing above anything but normal, AI is still retarded. Most of all the story is boring and unengaging. No real conflict, just bounce from mission to mission as each one 'goes wrong'. No real conflict or conspiracy, no ultimate goal. I'm gonna keep playing through the weekend but a total disappointment so far.
See i3. it takes a hit but it runs more than fine.
Different developers. This is the difference between programmers and visual programmers.
in the open world is's choppy, but in tight corridor shooting sections it easily reaches 60fps
>Game sponsored by Nvidia
Yeah, not surprising.
Now show how it runs in cities
The input lag with 60 fps is still atrocious for a shooter. Shooters should have a target framerate of at least 144fps on high-end (say rtx 3080 and ryzen 3700) systems. And judging by how this game looks, it should achieve that easily, but it's optimized like shit.
That chart is bullshit.
Do you happen to have any other CPU benchmarks? So far those are the only ones we have that I know of.
>ultra
Turn it down to medium and it will do 30+ fps.
I play with a 970 paired with an i7 7700/ssd, 60 fps no problem on medium high, some dips in the city.
this
I lowered difficulty and went full melee because low framerate shooting is that bad
