Its optimized like shit and full of bugs, but the game itself is really good, and the dialogue system is phenomenal. Some of the best in recent memory. I think with some more patches and optimization itll be a really solid game.

I’m 10 hours in

After the heist it gets pretty dark and actually starts to FEEL Cyberpunk, the trailers really misrepresented the tone of the game

>it's not as shit as a Bethesda game

Is this really the standard we're setting for "good" these days?

>the dialogue system is phenomenal
Huh? It's standard stuff. Otherwise the game is solid.

the dialogue system is from fallout 4

The choices, the fluidity of the first person body itself, and the voice acting I mean. Compare it to Fallout 4 for example, it doesn't even compare.

No, Fallout 4 goes into 3rd person where you can see the god awful shit canned animations, and the dialog choices are in a wheel with 4 options that boil down to the same friendly, asshole, question, sarcastic formula. Cyberpunks is actually fleshed out with speech checks and fluid first person interactivity. It feels like an actual conversation

>4 options that boil down to the same friendly, asshole, question, sarcastic formula
that's the same as the cyberpunk convos i've seen

You get a Gwent related plushy if you own Gwent, so maybe new Ciri game will unlock Ciri

Again, "at least it's not as bad as Bethesda" doesn't mean jack shit.

The best parts of this game are average and the worst parts are goddamn unforgivable from a big studio after 8 years of dev time.

Nah.
>t. 400 hours in Fallout 4

The textures in the game are really high quality. Like, some of the best ive seen in a while

Call me when they switch to a proper engine

The voice acting is great, fluidity too, but the choices themselves idk. Better than Fallout 4, but nothing THAT spectacular.

yea
>t. 400 hours in fallout 2

I guess my main point is most games of this type really don't get that first person role playing aspect right. It feels like they spent alot of time with. Makes sense considering how great The Witcher 3 handled dialog and choice

Am I correct to guess that it's CPU-heavy?
I didn't expect >30 FPS on my ancient rig and I don't get any, but my GTX 680 doesn't get stressed at all.
Would be a relief if it's a CPU bottleneck. Upgrading from a i5-4670 would still cost me less than a new GPU even if I do have to change the mobo too. Fucking 1150.

I got a 980 and an i5 6600k and even on 1080p medium/low it runs like ass. The games just poorly optimized. Hopefully they address this in updates.

Hopefully.
But in any case, I finally got some incentive to upgrade that isn't similarly poorly optimized Scam Citizen.
This is gonna be a busy year.

I'm just gonna overclock my GPU. I've had it for years at this point. Its a superclocked factory version, but im gonna force an overclock with afterburner to see if I can squeeze more frames.

It's funny how the shills have given up and they're now doing damage control. lol

lol ouch

everything about this 'game' makes me sad for modern gaming. glad I'm pursuing other hobbies now.

Turn off raytracing and you'll have a good time. After I got over that I can run on highest settings. I do get occasional dips when going into a new area or in built up places but hoping it's patched.

Side quests in this are alot of fun, had some dark decisions which were interesting.

what could possibly be a better hobby than heckin vidya??

>and the dialogue system is phenomenal.
>two dialogue, sometimes three options
>when fallout 4 was shitted for having only four

smoking weed and skateboarding

idk mane seems like it's not worth risking burning your GPU out down when a replacement will cost you an arm and a leg.
I don't remember prices being this insane a few years back, what the fuck happened? I thought the bitcoin miners got their fill.

I assume GTX 1070, i5 3570k and HDD is out of the question, yeah? I'm not too interested in the game but I have plenty of Steam money thanks to a crazy CS:GO skin I got.

if you want 60 fps, then something like 1660ti, 2060 is bare minimum. SSD is a must, since game has no loading screens.

My old toaster run it fine but fuck the ilumination suck its go a way to bright in the interiors

It keeps crashing while Jackie driving me home at the moment someone yells GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW
