But really... is all that starch good for your health?

it's frontal smash that you can recast for free twice. Other than needing to set up medium sized enemies it's just better. There are definitely better skills to use.

I just beat this fucker a fraction of a second before it turned to nighttime, wew.

Fuck birds

I only wish the notifications could be hidden. It gets pretty old seeing "ur hungry" or "its night" every 5 minutes

I really like Sakuna

You sure they weren't talking about Swallow Slice? I don't see that much love for Iaido.

>latest patch added a new dinner conversation
>for chapter 1
Well then. Does it talk about her parents or something?

do you mean year 1 or chapter 1?

It says chapter 1.

There def were people hyping up iaido in previous threads.

That was probably just me.

You could try posting it on the steam forum, at least there's the slightest chance that the devs might somehow get notice of it there.

What's the best skill and why is it Spinning Strike?

swallow strike for the crit chance bonus. Once you get the passive that gives bonus crit damage you start one shotting everything with it

Fuck pheasants more like. Fucking cunts just show up out of nowhere and stab you like ten times

Tidal Wave is amazing.

For me, it's Boiling Rage

My build:
Neutral: flashing furry
Forward: swallow strike
Up: Tidal Wave
Down: The Lightning one

Best raiment skill is the one where she crashes into the enemy

>"looks like the rice is ready for harvest, but I think I'm almost done Direhaze Keep, so I'll just beat the boss first and harvest after the cutscene"

>deer backkicks you

Lucky you, you got to experience it in full.

You need to level it up first. It does kinda suck when you first get it.

If Sakuna gets put in Smash, what would you set as her movelist?
>neutral
Boiling Rage
>up
Swallow Slice
>forward
Iaido
>down
Rising Carp

Raiment skills like Crescent Toss and Soaring Bash as her back and front throws.

It's okay but I don't use it in my main skill setups. Swallow slice is the true god-tier skill.

I switch spinning strike and thundering magnitude interchangeably. Thundering magnitude is great if you need magic damage. Spinning strike is great with chain combo or at least I think it is. I'm assuming the damage bonus applies with the rapid hits. I'd like to see a webm of someone getting as much altitude as possible and using spinning strike all the way down on an enemy. I'm not sure which level would be appropriate for this but there has to be a large drop somewhere.

Her being in Smash is the last thing I would ever want. You don't want this user.

Deer are annoying but once I unlocked Rising Carp I can just vent my frustration on pretty much anything with a limited posse. It's fun launching the deer in the air and practicing air combos on them
Pheasants, though, just pop out of fucking nowhere. At least deer are big and predictable

I almost bitched out and loaded an earlier save, but I decided I should take it like a man instead.

also this gun reload animation is the best reload animation I've ever seen in a videogame.

Actually that's a pretty solid moveset. I wouldn't change it. I haven't beat the game so I don't know what her Final Smash would be.

If we're going to talk about annoying enemy habits, Ashigumo Skeletons with their jumping attack is fucked. It should not have that hitbox when it jumps in the air, it's dumb. Maybe after the peak of the jump and it starts falling, but the instant startup for the jumping attack is silly.

This dude is the easiest boss in the game, probably because he's alone and has no adds, and doesn't spend the entire fight running away to sucker punch you when you have to chase him.

I didn't even notice that but shit, that is clever.
