VT2 overhauled the game. 1 is starkly different. This seems more like the difference between L4D1 and L4D2. There was a legit boycott back then because people thought L4D2 seemed like a cheap reskin.

If they add a 5 I bet they will make it Ad Mech, just because it is the most obvious and would have instant fans. Not that doing so is a bad thing. Though if not an Admech, it would probably be a Psyker, or even a local Arbites or ganger before something more mundane, exotic, obscure, or imaginative.

The whole “tide” aspect was completely absent from the gameplay footage. It was funny listening to that over the top music as there were maybe four or five enemies onscreen
