No one compares to the Koreans. But Artosis is a mid-tier player at best. Scarlett and Special are former SC2 players and they're both trying out SC:BW again. They have some shot at becoming big. They need to get much better of course.

It felt like he should have had double the money he did that game, considering how little he had on the map. didn't even have the armory until 5 minutes after he should have.

Artossis is a trash player and only known because he's a caster. Scarlett is a new SC:BW player and could be good. already 2-0. A lot of sloppiness and room for improvement from both players in game 2.

He has so many holes in his game and bad multi-tasking which is kind of essentail for BW. He wins largely on the strength of terran (big army smash!) and playing weaker players. Any actual players just roll him.

I don't think it would be accurate, and it would make people sad and disappointed when it wasn't actual korea time.

The thing is that Artosis is a 20 year player and Scarlet has been playing less than a year. Scarlett gets better all the time and has big room for improvement while Artosis has plateuad. If Scarlett stomps Artosis then there won't be a rematch but Scarlett will keep climbing the ladder. Maybe in a year or two they could try to qualify for ASL again and might even qualify.

Keep the hope alive. I want a non-Korean in ASL. Even if they flunk out r24 it's better than nothing.

Also I wouldn't even say Artosis has plateaued, I would say he's collapsed. I never watched a ton of him but based on this series, it feels like he's playing at maybe a C+ level on iccup. It's fucking bad. He's regularly down 20-30 supply from where he should be, I'm not even getting into his micro and army placement (which is also weak), just his macro is absolute shit.
