Even Andromeda didn't drop it because it just transplanted the setting and races to a new galaxy. It would be great if you could play as one of the first SPECTREs during the Krogan Rebellions, but nope we'll get another contrived plot that will probably make the ending of 3 even more laughable if it is going to be set afterwards as the trailer seems to imply if that is indeed Liara.
It could also be set in the two years after Shephard dies and before he is revived because you crash onto an ice world, but surely not
Regardless of my salt I will still buy the remastered trilogy on day one.
