75% of the reason I love Perfect Dark is the combat simulator. The single player is fine but ultimately not why I keep firing the game up 2 decades later. Even today if I dont feel like playing anything in particular I'll set up a quick match and play for 15 mins.
The story looks like pozzed garbage but I will play game if it makes this mode all it can be in 2021 because no other console FPS games seem to even make an attempt.
