I think we went a bit too hard on this hard one. In hindsight, it was a solid game

yeah, but the story is still pants on head retarded. still not as bad as the sequel, though.

HR and MD were cool
I need a new Deus Ex game bros

I need a new thief
a real thief

>thieVes

good game, better mechanically than the first and it's too bad that the story gets cut off right after it actually starts.
I liked the expanded hub interaction and I understand that it came at the cost of multiple hubs but I still would have liked to go to one more.

That is the sequel you moron

Agreed.

It's terrible game - by commite
Could have had pogroms, could have watched the world unravel before we get the first but instead! Just $2 For a praxis kit!
It's the true cyberpunk 1488

Not going to happen. Stick to The Dark Mod.

No, you imbecile, the first game's story is also retarded, just not as much as the sequel. Learn to fucking read, faggot.

Gloomwood

It was good and I'll argue with anyone about it. The the only real problem with the game are the boss fights, which basically take a giant shit in your mouth if you aren't combatman. The story is a lot more tame and less fucking completely insane than the first, but its a AAA game made after 2000 what do you expect?

The sequel really shit the bed. I really don't know how they thought half the decisions they made were good. It feels like something they shat out just to keep the license.

It's 50% of a 10/10 game
HR is 80% of a 10/10 game
DX is 90% of a 10/10 game
Cyberpunk is 100% of a 6/10 game

Stop spamming these threads, MD is shit.

it's good but feels poorly balanced because they throw so many resources at you that before the half point of the game it feels like you just have too much shit.

Aside from the most retarded DE:HR endgame choice that became canonical and the feeling that game ends when it's only halfway there, and also not mentioning that half of the upgrades are purely useless, it wasn't that bad. It was fun to occasionally use subhuman meatbag subway to have security guys shit their pants when they check Adam's ID.

I just got this on Steam.

Not him but he interpreted your post correctly, you're just an idiot.

Several MD sidequest can subsitute for the actual main quest and i wouldent even notice that whole main story quest was so damn short the aug serial killer side quest felt longer

Why is the hacking so much more annoying in this game than HR? Did they just want you to skip over everything with multitools? And it still has the fucking stupid XP system where you are punished with less XP if you do any other method but hacking.

see

I like these games, they're not perfect but they scratch a specific itch. After the series was cancelled to make the Avengers game I was kind of hoping Cyberpunk would fill the void, not that it would be a great game or anything but I guess not.

They cancelled Deus Ex for retarded capeshit game?

Crystal Dynamics was the main developer for Avengers but Eidos Montreal assisted.

It was a perfectly well made mediocre game. It didn't have soul and you inevitably get bored of it.

Great game that got shit on for a bad ending and because there wasn't as much globetrodding as HR. In every other way, it was HR 2.0.

Oh, also the preorder campaign pissed a lot of people off.

Its a dense world, not everyone could appreciate it

I've read your original post 10 times over at this point, and I don't see how it's possible to interpret it the way you claim to have meant it.

Honestly, I didn't even mind the pared down scale of the story and relatively inconsequential ending. The actual writing was on par with HR, it just didn't really expand on all of the big conspiracy stuff that was setup. It often felt like a "day in the life of Adam Jensen" type of game, which I found pretty comfy.

That literally has been the opinion since day one
MD is a solid game that was sliced in half because S-E are idiots and wanted to MX our asses. If they would have just let Eidos to their shit for another year it could have easily been one of the best games ever.

It's an unfinished game that doesn't do any one thing that well outside of atmosphere and music.
