I played Ghost for a bit and shut it off. It's quite literally the third best samurai game in recent memory behind Sekiro and Nioh. No, I did not believe it was a GOTY contender.

Nah, I had more fun with GoT. TLoU2 had some pretty fun gameplay segments but it was too bogged down by walk and talks and that super boring pseudo-open world bit in Seattle near the beginning

The only reason it didnt is because the awards are decided by absolute morons. I'm not even sure it deserved to win but TLOU2 definitely didn't deserve half the awards it got. It was not the best narratively which is obvious to anyone who had to sit throigh the 20 hour plot contrivance generator, it was not the best action/adventure because it lacked the enjoyable gameplay it so badly needed in order to make up for the garbage writing and it most definitely is not the best game to come out this year. GoT might not deserve those awards over other games but it 100% did if other option was TLOU2.

Open world games have existed far before Ubisoft decided to make them. Just because they decide to use the same format for a decade doesn't make them revolutionaries in gaming.

Open world with character missions sprinkled throughout, climbing bits, basic stealth, it's asscreed to a T. It just makes it more fun than asscreed does

I played it twice, retard. The only enjoyable thing about it was unlocking the blades of chaos and being able to fight fucking draugr with a weapon that was actually fun, I fucking hated fighting with the leviathan axe
