is it worth it if I can't find the right parts for the builds i can afford?
Pre-built Pc
Not if you get a 1660.
yes. dont let Zig Forums and /g/ meme you otherwise. its the only way to get some GPUs right now. be aware they usually cheap out on SSDs, cases, and coolers though
>game xtreme
>1660
>8gb
>lake++++++++++++++++++++
oof
Why would you ever prebuilt
Literally why
There is not reason if you don't buy in the 300-400 bucks tier. And if your budget is that low, just get a console.
Are you too scared to build legos?
how this can be sold as a gaming pc is beyond me. No possible way 8gb of ram is enough for any game lmao. Why not just pre order the parts you want and just be patient and wait for them to arrive? why buy something bad when you could just wait for something good ?
The idea that this PC could run ANY game in VR is laughable
so which exactly of these parts can't you find? seems pretty normal to me
if this is less than 700€, sure
how much is that piece of shit?
>BUYING A 1660 IN 2020
stop being retarded i built by first PC at 15 by myselft with youtube videos its not that hard
they tend to develop motherboard issues early on
if you absolutely need a non-existent gpu to play cyberpunk at 4k, go for it.
but if not, i'd get a combo deal from amazon or microcenter or something and make sure the parts you get are decent.
this is more of a question for >>/g/pcbg though
If you're a poorfag during the next 12 months, and possibly longer, you are quite literally better off with a PS5 or xbox. It is leagues above what you can get for the same price, even including parts on sale that you build yourself.
what's wrong with it, besides shit cpu and ram?
Good luck getting either of those before February.
Also, my seven year old prebuilt with the 1070 I added later still completely dabs on the new consoles.
>Also, my seven year old prebuilt with the 1070 I added later still completely dabs on the new consoles.
You are delusional and/or completely and utterly misinformed
It's shit, get over it
I had 8gb ram 10 years ago
Literally
Cool argument.
Tech illiterate
Your 1070 which you tout as the latest and greatest part in your prebuilt PC is significantly weaker than the GPU in both the consoles and doesn't even have ray tracing. Even a 1080TI lags behind the consoles.
You say your prebuilt PC is 7 years old, even the best parts of all in every relevant category: RAM, SSD, CPU from that era are shit compared to the new consoles, and your prebuilt probably didn't even have the best parts from that era anyway.
It's OK to not have the best PC ever, but don't be delusional about it.
Sorry, I can't hear you over the 120 fps I'm getting in Cyberpunk and PUBG.
I can't hear you over having an actually good PC and not suffering from a delusional disorder.
>Good pc
>Prebuilt
It's doesn't work pretending to be master race when you're literally tech illiterate
You sound jealous for some gay reason. Be happy, bro.
You're replying to the wrong person...
>No possible way 8gb of ram is enough for any game lmao
the rest of your post is true but this is complete AAA industry faggotry
i had 8gb of ram until 2018 and played tons of games with it from baldur's gate to MGSV, without issues
the point of building your own is it's cheaper not "better"
dont get cyber power i got one last year and it had shit thermals and after it over heated once it didnt run like it was new until i had a new case and a new cpu cooler it turned a 1000$ buy into a 1130 one for a ryzen 7 3700 with a shit cooler and a 5700 xt and im also pissed about their mad cause their cock sucking support workers dont fuckin help at all
>the point of building your own is it's cheaper not "better"
Kek
He unironically thinks his shitty prebuilt is good
Post PSU, motherboard, case and a pic of your cable management so I can shit on your low quality stuff
a friend of mine also gets 120fps on PUBG with his 1070. i get around 70fps with my strange RX580 + FX-6300 combo
>$800
I guess its fine if you don't feel like waiting for GPUs to come back in stock. It always pains me to see people pay an extra $100 just for Windows when most power users immediately replace it with Linux.
