Secondly, when you can't do anything else to console each other, try something like Minecraft or Zelda or Pokemon or Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon, something simple in premise and mechanics so you can just go on autopilot.

Stardew valleys actually another good idea. You can lose yourself in the repetition of managing a farm. Or any of the harvest moon series desu.

I'm sorry user, my aunt passed back in 2018. She was really fat her entire life and in 2017 she got the surgery that reduced her stomach size, forget what it's called. Anyways later that year her stomach got some sort of infection that baffled the doctors. She was fine In November, in hospital in December and died early February. Only 55 years old. I miss her every day, wish I had told her I loved her more than I did. Its why now I tell my brother, sisters and parents every day I love them. Sure they get annoyed sometimes cause I'll say it 1000 times a day but we never know when we are gonna go. Anyways, if you want a game to take your mind off things check out gears tactics. Sure it's not the best thing ever but I'm having a good time with it
