Windows xp had the most souvl
Windows 7 is my most memorable experience
Windows 10 stale no 1st party gidgets

based, everything else is garbage
linux is the worst

CCPware

I installed w10 for the first time a few days ago
it feels like a fucking marketeer talking to me
>"uh you sure don't want an account? well continue with the LIMITED experience"
>press continue twice
>can still see the option "or, better, make an account"
what the fuck man
also froze several times with no reason

How is a new user supposed to build an instinct for what's in the Control Panel and what's in "Settings"?

haha wow

Yeah, but only when you aren't a brainlet who can't disable the updates and telemetry.

sorry, wrong pic

>using Windows

New user is not supposed to know about the control panel, that's icky nerd shit.

best for what?

sorry wrong pic

Not really
i think that title would be better for windows xp or windows 7

>never used anything else besides MS OSs
>doesn't know shit about anything
>dude its da best

zoomers should be euthanised

Windows 98 had the most soul

>install update
>start menu doesn't open
>wait for new update
>fixes start menu
>internet icon now only ever shows not connected
>new update fixes icon
>built in kiosk feature now doesn't work at all with edge, the only browser its compatible with
>install new update
>doesn't fix kiosk but also enables SNMP on all printers, which makes them appear as offline
>reinstall with no updates
>security like swiss cheese
>registry errors

great os

Wontworks 10 is a botnet AND a market place, all in one. It's literally no longer a piece of software; it's a service you subscribe to by using it. One which holds all the rights to change its own rules without any kind of notification, and fuck you up as it seems fit.

This. Can't believe people like Mutahar push the gaming on Linux meme. I'm sure it's less hardware intensive but this isn't the 90s, processing power is very VERY available and cheap.

based

Windows 10 is worse than Vista.

lmao, you still stuck in 1998

it didn't stop advertising microsoft edge until I installed firefox
this is despite the fact that I was already using edge until that point

ZOOM ZOOM

>pirating an OS
Yikes sweaty

>footfucker
>epic shit store
>i use arch btw

Someone needs to take the blow-pill

im on insider previews. I dont get the hate for it besides the inconsistent ui and making it difficult to turn off telemetry

Gnome is lowkey the best graphical interface available.

Lmao enjoy you android tier bloatware, im switching to lime once steam stop supporting win7

>gaming on Linux meme

Hated it when I didn't have it, hated it even more when I had to install it in a mandatory way. Fucking bloated piece of shit, you can have a clean PC and still if you open the task manager you'll see countless softwares that you don't need.

It doesn't help that most of them can't even be removed without having a degree in autistic engineering.

Fucking Windows 10, i hope the guys who developed it will have a family but their new borns will be abominable handicapped beasts. Niggers

t. NSA employee

Is there any difference in the version you buy with the free one?, I mean, if you want to use more things you need an email anyway

It's genuinely sad how pathetically windows 10 begs for you to keep edge as the default browser.

SOUL

W10 LTSC is the best OS I've ever used imo desu

>inconsistent ui and making it difficult to turn off telemetry
that also happens in the normal version for most, with windows xp and windows 7 that things did not happen

Why even use GNU/Linux at this point?

>pirating
what? that's before you have to activate it

what other ones have you used?

Does a version of Window 10 exist which offers no ads at all and then doesn't claim that the Win key isn't activated if I take the PC offline?

laughed my ass off at this post thank you, it is actually really sad

yeah, the one I'm using.

why not?

>lmao, you still stuck in 1998

I would gladly go back.

It actually tried to sneak it on my work laptop between some updates, despite the fact that days before I had declined.
I almost didn't notice because it was like the 4th day in a row that W10 asked for updates

No, that's Windows 8.1

based

If you're using a tablet, sure. Otherwise it runs like shit, all UI elements are oversized, tons of wasted space and features are stripped out every update.

Which one is that?

>tablet
Gnoem is extremely keyboard-centric.

Is there anything else left to use?

I agree and empathise completely with you.

>updates that break your OS every so often
>bloatware up the ass
>the Metro UI
>a bunch of bugs that still remain since launch day, despite the majority of them being fixed
If someone does an OS using the leaked XP source code, I'll be grateful.

holy shit I have the EXACT same specs!

Xp is literally babbies first OS

Attached: 139558-140001.jpg (320x240, 7.95K)

I've had sound problems with this piece of shit OS for over a year now. Never had these issues with 8.1

after 5 yrs of windows 10 its worst than vista.

I don't remember vista being buggy as fuck, multiple things does same thing and awful ui after 5 years.

Now that it's just degoogled chrome it's cemented its place as the best browser since IE8

>Ubuntu just won't accept my printer no matter what and every solution suggested online fails

Attached: 0021.jpg (225x225, 5.58K)

my own clone!

It's the best ui thanks to win+x alone

I refuse to use 10

Every consumer windows from 95 to now, and server 2012 to current

what kernel version are you using?

>working from home when suddenly the Win 10 freezes
>what the fuck
>turns out windows update was downloading and installing in the background even though it was during my active hours
>lost the last 30 minutes of my work

Sure is fucking great

I was steadfast to 7 but I admit 10 has actually been really fucking smooth. occasional minor annoyance whenever windows updates but it's not as cancerous as I expected once you disable all the telemetry and such.

also do yourself a favor, disable cortana

*IE9

hol up, windows 10 has fucking ADS? while you're using it?

Attached: disgust (2).jpg (636x668, 81.1K)

My last attempt was whatever ubuntu 18.04 shipped with, I think it was 5.0.something.

extremely common budget graphics card and processor.

T.same here, but went amd cpu instead. it's ok.

it sucks
you need to spend a few days removing bloatware manually thats deep into its dumb ass fucking sytstem and they REALLY don't want you to remove it.
It's also insanely heavyweight on low end systems cause of the shitty "WERE NOT TELLING YOU ANYTHING" policy of update downloads and shit

Once you remove everything that makes win10 different from win 7 for normal users, yes I guess it's as good as win7

so, no linux or macos? well, windows10 might as well be the best windows, sure. it is by far the worst os though. its only saving feature is that it does directx/can run games
