Jew-rnos aren't apes at best.
Video game ratings are not objective measure of the quality of the game, instead it's just journos rating their feelings while playing the game (or the amount of cash that went into their pockets).
It's also why 7/10 used to mean a good game, but now it's considered a shit rating. Between all the technological advances and well described endorphin-squeezing techniques, making a "good" game is easier than ever before, so the baseline is much easier to reach.
7/10 has been a shit game for over 20 years
God that looks so bad lol
>unique
>terrible launch
Thumbs up from me !
Game is awesome.
How often do we get a major release of a new game? A game that is not a sequel, a prequel, a remake, some garbage that tries to feed off on our nostalgia? High ratings were unavoidable simply because of how many $$$ were thrown into it, but also people voted for it because it is something fresh. I would say this is a shitty GTA remake with RPG elements, but last GTA came out 7 years ago, so here it is.
Lmao had a feeling that would be the case.
I've seen multiple people play that part and even though Jackie says to shoot the driver he never actually seems to die before blowing up.
Cuz the game has been marketed as a protest to conservatives
If you think 10/10 in vidya ratings means "absolutely perfect, zero flaws" you are retarded, as that makes it an impossible rating and therefor unnecessary.
If you advocate for this retardness, then start advocating for a 9/9 system that technically has a 10 but cannot be used.
Invested too much of their gaming identity into 2077 being the perfect video game when it would one day come out. That's literally it. 7 years of shouting down every other video game release with "heh but once Cyberpunk comes out"
Ghost of Tsushima came out just this year. A new IP. It did pretty well critically and financially.
It's a pitiful game in a pitiful state, people should be ashamed of even giving it a 7, you can't use the "flawed masterpice" card for this garbage, and, yeah, 10 means masterpiece.

>6/10
a shit game is shit, with or without bugs. cyberpunk is enjoyable despite the rough edges. get over it
>not ok when meme big company evil does it
>ok when based let me succ you off CDPR omg literally the best dev ever made does it
reading you loud and clear user.
Wherever there are big corpos and money, corruption is 100% sure to follow. I have never in my life watched any of this awards by the way and for good reason.
Says the man who probably jacks off to fallout new vegas.

Pick one (1)
I've seen worse in New Vegas
If they dont give it a 9 or 10 they’ll be attacked online
I don't really care. Of course I would rather this not be the case, but I don't care. Are people actually playing this game like a free roam gta atm? I'm absorbed in doing story missions right now and I'm completely immersed with it's first person perspective and just how all of the cutscenes/dialog play out, I'm also really enjoying the RPG mechanics, there are so many skill points and different ways to level V and the majority of my dialogues in these quests were effected by some kind of trait, like V's background, or having a high enough stats.
Maybe once I beat the game and have nothing left to do I will care, but cars are just an obstacle to get around to get to my next mission just like they were in GTA. Sorry you aren't enjoying the game anons, perhaps refund and move on?
I knew this was going to happen either way. People kept comparing to and expecting this game to be "GTA in the future". It was a tabletop game converted into a video game, it's an RPG and you should be playing it as if it were one. If you want to steal a tank and cause destruction until you have 5 stars, play GTA.
Because not every review that you read online is organic OP. This should not surprise you.
You can consider something 10/10 despite being flawed. Most of my favorite things are undeniably flawed yet I don't give a single fuck. It's a non-issue. Pretending anything is perfect is the cringiest larp
post a more hypocritical reviewer

Maybe for a cuck like you
He actually did for me, though I think I just got the lucky headshot. The problem with these scripted sequences is that there is rarely any punishment so dumb shit like is allowed to happen
You definitely can kill the driver, I did and the vehicle and it didn't explode. The guys just fucking spongey for some reason
I can't fucking stand the voices and faces of these Aussie queers.
isn't this the same faggot who cried that he didn't get a review copy or something?
it's a combination of multiple factors
>metacritic showcases most positive and most critical reviews first, so there's an incentive to give a 10/10 to get clicks. alternatively there's an incentive to give a very low score, see GameSpot's 2/10 for the BfBB remake
>CDPR was exceptionally stringent with the review embargo, giving a bad review is a good way to get yourself blacklisted for future releases
>The industry is accepting the fact that most AAA releases are essentially early access titles and are extra willing to overlook bugs
>game journalists often have a very good internet connection as its essential for their job. as a result they don't care about multiple 60GB patches the same way the average consumer with slower internet has. sure there are people who will need to wait literal days to play a game they bought day one because of patches, but reviewers often don't share these woes
I don't even blame reviewers any more. There's no reason to have journalistic integrity if you're going to get blacklisted and lose your income as a result. this is a consequence of how AAA companies have steered the industry, and nothing short of massive backlash on the part of consumers will resolve it.
