2) It's yet another city that just farts icons all over the map instead of being genuinely interactive, you walk to a certain X and Y and a bunch of characters appear and start a stageplay for you, they kinda promised something more

This is a very good complaint that nobody seems to give a single shit about. Most just hate the game so far because they can't run it. But the openworld aspect seems very staged. The traffic patterns are good but npc spawn rates are bad. Basically every corner is a bunch of npcs fighting

I remember in GTA San Andreas you would sometimes be walking around and then have a car full of criminals being chased by the police zoom past you. It really made the world feel like there was more going on than newer games that will just trigger a scripted event when you enter a certain area.
