Baby's first fighting game, its fun dont get me wrong but its so simplistic.
Not a whole lot for a competitive community to latch on to, so the only scene that would keep a game like this alive was tiny.

didn't help that set-up is a huge pain.

Really needed more DLC support. Felt like it just kind of fizzled out right when it was getting good

>pick one
>character select screen, can't return if you made a mistake, you now have to proceed through the following screens
>support select screen
>cheer select screen
>waiting for opponent screen
>if that doesn't match up with anyone, you get loaded into an AI battle
>loading screen for AI battle
>prefight support select for AI battle
>countdown
>now you can pause the game and exit back to the main menu
And then there's the other half of the match
>finish match
>fight money popup, unskippable
>LUCKY BONUS popup, unskippable
>level up menu if applicable, unskippable
>rematch screen
Now here's where things get extra retarded.
>ranked rematch screen, y/n
>if no, you both go back to waiting for the next opponent
>casual match rematch screen, y/n
>one player picks no, goes back to waiting for the next opponent
>PLAYER WHO PICKS YES GETS BOOTED BACK TO THE ONLINE MENU

I wish someone tried their hand at another Pokemon fighter in the future. The idea is good it just needs to be executed properly.

Pretty sure you couldnt rematch opponents on Ranked.
