lol maybe try spending more than $99 on a GPU
>RTX ON

77fps
This doesn't look any better than the last Deus Ex games.
rtx is such a meme
>RTX ON
>raytraced lighting psycho
22fps
Looks better imo
The thing is, what does ray tracing even do? Now Ray tracing shadows I notice. That actually makes shadows caused by buildings to looks so much more real, but I cannot tell the difference between RTX on or off. Or, rather, I can notice a small difference, but I can't notice exactly what it is.
Literally only makes Minecraft look different. Just an FPS killer in any other game. Not worth 30fps in Cyberpunk for that meme.
>50fps difference between these
RTX is a meme
also what the fuck is this engine doing
the fuck am I looking for?
>tanking 3/4 of your framerate for this difference
Everyone knows RTX is a massive FPS sucker. You'll lose a good 30-40 FPS by turning on ray-tracing. It isn't worth it and the RTX in Cyberpunk is garbage. They didn't even try. Even fucking Spider-Man has better ray-tracing in it.
The difference for me is the shadows. RTX definitely creates more real, more immersive shadows, just no way around it. The lighting I could do without, but the realistic shadows are choice. Now is it worth 30fps? Idk.
>RTX ON
>game story still sucks
At least use good example images OP. RTX lighting and reflections are much more prominent when looking at subtle examples and softer lighting. Neon bullshit is easy to emulate.
RTX ON 60 FPS
>taking a 50 FPS hit for worse-looking, blown-out lighting
People will unironicallly buy anything to feel superior to others, won't they?
RTX off...
RTX on. Woah...
Nice!
rtx makes the game look great and all, if its worth the 50-60% performance drop is up to everyone themselves
RTX removes the dumbasss screenspace effects, so it's worth any performance.
This one genuinely does look a lot better
People always think about the reflections with RTX but it’s the shadows and the way lighting interacts with surrounding textures and models, also the fact it replaces ambient occlusion with a better alternative is great
It looks more realistic than this
