The new models look too high res with the extremely low res, 2d backgrounds. Makes everyone stick out really oddly. If you mod in higher definition backgrounds the updated models look ok.

It looks nicer but iirc they didn't even do that for every character model. Just key characters. Any benefit from redoing the models then gets squandered by the glaring inconsistency.

The backgrounds got a massive downgrade to the point where you think it was a skyrim screenshot. It's literally unplayable because of this.
