I swear to fuck we make to the end of this pass and Eggman or another SEGA character to replace him aren't there, it HAS to be the result of some sort of behind the scenes autism.
People have been sperging about having more than one Sonic character since before he was even in the game, you can look at almost any fan roster from the 2000s.
Not even gonna ask why they didn't just color Sonic black to shut people up. Personally I hope it's just because they plan to add a Sonic character without a DOGSHIT moveset.

I gave up on expecting anything based on previous reveals, somehow we all come with "this opens the gates" with each one, just to find out they were the exception (at least, for the First Pass).

Honestly, Sophitia and Siegfried are the only other characters I can think of to represent SC besides Nightmare. Mitsurugi and Yoshimitsu are decent picks too, but I doubt that if SC ever gets a rep, it would be through the Samurai characters.
