Why does it have to be one or the other? I maintain a nice PC and usually at least one of the current gen consoles. PC is great for RTS and FPS and experimenting. Console is great for ARPGs and other single player games on my couch and big TV, or to play splitscreen stuff with my friends like Rocket League.
