Unironically better than cyberpunk
Agree
Also better than Cyberpunk 2077.
It's a great game. I wish it was a little longer.
So is this!
Konami really needs to reboot this game already.
True or a sequel.
Also love that witch house ost.
haven't played RUINER yet but Ghostrunner is kino beyond belief. so much fucking fun
Cyberpunk hotline miami
>modern day konami rebooting snatcher
lol
snatcher wouldnt be the same without kojima
>haven't played Ruiner.
Do it, it's basically what you expect from a Cyberpunk game. According to some of the former CDPR developers who worked on it the game was what CP2077 was ORIGINALLY supposed to look like before they scrapped it down to some generic GTA trash.
Ruiner had god-tier aesthetics, atmosphere and soundtrack but unfortunately the gameplay was the worst part of it.
is it true that it was made by people who got mad at CDP?
reikon (formerly cdpr)
No, unless someone posts a source always assume no
Yeah,
CDPR screwed them over apparently.
It just shittier Hotline, I'd rather play that again.
Ruiner's aesthetics are fucking amazing but the gameplay just looks like a chore.
Just don't play on the hardest difficulty. The bosses are a total fucking bitch on it.
ruiner is a legit cyberpunk game but since Zig Forums is pretty much a sub division of reddit, they dont even research anything outside of aaa trash and only consume something super americanised like cyberbug 2020
the dude who drew these arts is a very talented guy anyway. hes super good at both western and japanese stuff
I'm still waiting for fucking LAST NIGHT!
Good Lord.....
what does / v / think of dex?
It sucked

The only thing I didn't like about Ruiner were the controls. Having them control along an isometric axis is clunky as fuck. If I'm pressing W my character should be moving north, not fucking north east and if I'm pressing S my character should be moving south, not fucking south west. There's a reason isometric games don't do that shit anymore. It's unintuitive and cumbersome as fuck, especially when you're not limited to moving along a diagonal axis.
I enjoyed it.
Melee sucks, firearms suck, the hacking AR had the misfortune of being something I played after Gunpoint and just looked laughably amateur by comparison.
But it's pretty good anyway. A game that's 90% sidequests and better for it.
Thanks

Really? Because some npcs in Cyberpunk have the ruiner helmet. That must sting a bit.
After the release of the game right now, I don't think they mind lol.
Nah, Snatcher was basically a mediocre VN where even mundane tasks were needlessly tedious. You want to open that door? Nah, you can't just open that door. You've got to look at the door, talk to the door, examine the door, and knock on the door before you can open it. It's got a great setting and world building with great attention paid some of most minute details like phone numbers being a digit shorter due to the world's population being thoroughly devastate but God damn it can be a slog to get through.
felt like a dolled up phone game. the hub was cool but the rest of the game takes place in the same red steel corridor fighting the same guys.
Ruiner is objectively peak cyberpunk aesthetics

>this was how CP2077 was supposed to look like
Now i'm fucking mad. Fuck CDPR kike managers. Fuck KiciĆski and fuck Badowski.
Pure fucking soul and i am 100% sure the guys would have delivered on nailing the 2012 trailer aesthetic and feel.
