As an admitted Genofag myself, I wish the rest of them would just give up and admit defeat already.
At this point it's just sad. They're so desperate they listen to internet randos who claim to be insiders who tell them what they want to hear, got shown a small glimmer of hope when his mii costume didn't come with Hero and Min Min broke the spirit rule just to get kicked in the dick by Sephiroth, and now they're all twisting into knots trying to find some angle where he still has a shot after all of this.
Not to mention the people in the Geno camp who act like they're chosen saviors who need to constantly salvage "the hype" and encourage them to ignore facing reality and keep egging them on when they should have thrown in the towel a long time ago.
