Is giving a kid an iPhone with credit card info going to become the new “giving a kid 10 pounds of candy and a super soaker”
>Sonic Forces
>American Sonic in the thumbnail
how tf does a teen have access to a credit card
i first read it as 16 year old, it's 6? wtf lmao
Small children don't fully comprehend the concept of currency. The mom fucked up on this one.
mommy btfo
did the mother recover the monies?
Presumably they share an Apple account and there’s no verification to purchase.
There is verification on apple devices though. Any purchases through the app store require a face id or touch id unlock.
I'm about as Sonicfag as I they come and this never bothered me.
this
>small child jumped out of the window
we better ban windows now
>saving your card info on your device
>saving your card info on your device that others have access to
>saving your card info on your device that others have access to, including a 6-year-old child
She deserved it.
wtf can we cancel windows??
Zoom ends at 2012, that 6 yr old is gen alpha. Blame the Aussies for this labeling
The mom deserves it for being a retard who gave him a smart phone and credit card info
don't gives your credit card information availble, a lot of mobile games are designed to make dumb kids dump cash into it. it's not even just a mobile thing, fifa has this problem now with its lootbox system, these companies don't give a fuck and will their games as insidious as legally possible.
sadly no.
>“[Apple] said, ‘Tough.’ They told me that, because I didn’t call within 60 days of the charges, that they can’t do anything,” said Jessica. “The reason I didn’t call within 60 days is because Chase told me it was likely fraud — that PayPal and Apple.com are top fraud charges.”
>Jessica got no sympathy from a customer-service agent, even after confessing that she wouldn’t be able to pay her family’s mortgage. “They’re like, ‘There’s a setting, you should have known,’” she recalled.
probably left credit card details outfilled. Heard of a friend of a friend that had a kid that bought a shitload of FIFA player cards.
It already is.
>mom says he didn't know what he was doing
>kid says he had no idea
>article mentions that he started with the $2 bundle, then worked his way up to the $99 one over time
If the kid had no concept of money and didn't know he was spending it, why would he start small? If he truly had no idea what he was doing, he would've naturally clicked the bigger pile of rings first. He tested the waters to see what he could get away with, and then worked his way up to larger amounts. Now he's being a little fucking liar about it. Obviously these companies are to blame for exploiting children and gambling addicts, but his mom needs to wake up to the fact that a six year old is able to lie
>no father
>“These games are designed to be completely predatory and get kids to buy things, What grown-up would spend $100 on a chest of virtual gold coins?”
shots fired at gacha players
The article mentions the father, supposedly he's stay-at-home and still this happens
kids that age aren't zoomers, they're generation alpha.
>giving your credit card information to a child
mom is at fault
Wait how the shit did she think it was fraud? Does she not check her mail? Did she not get check any sort of message from her bank listing the monthly expenses?
Also this, people understimate children way too much. Saying that he didnt know how severe this child would actually be is perfectly reasonable, but he wouldnt have started with 2 bucks if he had no idea what he was doing.
I mean, what is she going to do, not buy him toys for a month and yell at him a few times? You're not allowed to discipline children anymore.
This is why uu don’t give kids phones/tablets or any tech really
maybe they should've spent more time with the kid instead of letting vidya raise it instead
>Saving card info
Who the fuck does this? I don't even do this on the shit only I have access to
Are they allowed a refund in those extreme circumstances?
What bothers me is they picked an image that has to legitimately be 25 years old to represent Sonic. I'm guessing the author watched Satam as a kid and just wanted to use it.
The purchases were labeled "apple store," when she asked her credit card they told her it was fraud (someone buying apple gift cards in bulk) and they spun her wheels for months trying and failing to cancel it with apple. She only finds out when she goes to apple directly
I am confused at this as well. I receive mail every single month from my bank listing all of my expenses, and i also get a message whenever my credit card is used period. Did she really not get any of these things?
Well, she says she can't afford the mortgage now, so maybe four years of homelessness will teach the smug little prick a lesson
Let me guess, she's a single mom.
false, but it's amazing how quickly you can tell how many faggots on here are mad at mommy for raising them
