When I was younger, I used to look up to all of these speedrunners. I've known about SDA and GDQ since AGDQ 2013.
After SGDQ 2014, I noticed it started to go downhill.
Just looking at all of the sadness and depravity in everyone who goes there, the stuff they give away when you donate a high amount (ah I can't look at some of the stuff who would buy this) and they still take a 50% cut of all of the donations made.
Speedrunning ain't even that hard man, there's always drama in the community or someone cheated or someone lied, meanwhile I've got the WR to E1L1 in Duke Nukem 3D and I still haven't beaten the game.

If you have a mortgage on a home you bought, even if you're only made the downpayment you're a home owner. Renting anything isn't home ownership.

They're paying £500-600 per month towards somebody else's mortgage when I pay £330 a month and actually own my place.
