Everyone knew 100% he was going to lose. Some of the games were kinda close but only because Leffen was deliberately playing badly. Chillin needed to win 5 games and didn't win a single one, so overall the set really wasn't close at all. Since then Leffen has given him permission to use the default fox color and the two of them get along perfectly fine

what happened is that leffen and chillin had some beef because when leffen was just making a name for himself in the scene, he was young and annoying and got into drama with everyone. chillin started playing the game probably 10 years before leffen and at this point in time leffen was clearly doing better than him with his character. leffen basically insinuated on twitter that chillin was never great at the game and that fox players don't look up to him anymore. chillin challenged him to a best of 9 set for the rights to use the default fox skin in tournaments from then on. it was never an enforceable agreement, just something they decided because leffen was being disrespectful, and if he actually bitched at chillin for using the default skin it would have just made people hate him even more.

Casual here. So if you can put your scout units anywhere then you could beat anyone with this if you deploy first? Also isn't there a rule you have to win 2 out of 3 or something for an important match? I mean sure the guy can't use his gimmick but I would doubt you can win any serious game by just winning one match.

Otherwise it makes me smile because it is like those fighter animes where every boss has a terrifying gimmick and the hero has to figure out a counter for it.
