Game runs much better and eliminated a fuckton of bugs that were in the first few weeks of release. Somehow went from ~50-ish fps on high settings to +60fps on ultra a month later. Loading got much faster too. Great game.

I had to replay it multiple times because I cared for the world and factions. Its super easy to get into, all you gotta keep in mind when it comes to combat is to save ammo and that is literally it.

A lot better. The skill system is more sensible and you can actually play without spending two hours with pen and paper minmaxing your skills; there's far less dumbass broken shit like assault rifles outclassing every other weapon and armor being completely useless; the graphics are vastly improved (especially the overworld map); the writing is better and far more lines are voiced; my only gripe is that the game tries a bit too hard to be morally ambiguous and gritty so most characters and factions you meet come by as assholes.

The original Fallouts and Jagged Alliance 2 were perfect turn based isometric combat RPGs, I just don’t understand how InXile keep getting fans of the genre to keep giving them money. Their games are dogshit starting with the basic game design.
I guess these are a lot of gamers out there who will happily eat dogshit if it comes with sparklers and frosting.
