i mean, it is the second highest rated game of all time on steam. that's quite the achievement in and of itself. it's an amazing but niche game, and everyone knows the steam awards are a popularity contest, not an objective measure of quality.

I really need to upgrade my computer. I just can't decide if a desktop is realistic anymore. I've grown wayyy too comfy being able to pick up the computer and walk around everywhere. Gaming laptops seem kinda stupid though, right? Those Lenovo Legion 5 with the GTX1650s are catching my eye.... The price isn't bad and it would be a massive improvement.

Factorio is one of those fantastic games that you can only really enjoy if you have autism. Like people who sink their lives into shit like EVE online and other spreadsheet simulators, you have to be part of that same appeal group to truly love the game. Even beating the vanilla game requires lots of puzzle solving skills, planning, and environmental management skills that can feel tedious sometimes.

Now when you start getting into shit like angelbob you really need to be on the spectrum for that shit. I thought the main game was plenty, holy shit do some of the mods require serious grinding.

Christ. The reprocessing already put enough back into the loop that you hardly need to process uranium ore after you get your first 40 chunks of the good stuff. Cramming it full of production modules will make it damn near raw resource neutral.
